Ciara Miller revealed if she will be returning to film Summer House amid multiple cast exits — and a massive scandal.
Ciara, 30, addressed her absence from the Saturday, July 11, episode of Love Island USA: Aftersun, telling cohost Tefi Pessoa, “I have Summer House to shoot — season 11. I gotta get back to the Hamptons.”
The official cast has yet to be revealed following season 10, which featured Ciara, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, KJ Dillard, Dara Levitan, Mia Calabrese, Jesse Solomon, West Wilson, Bailey Taylor and Levi Sebree. Newbie Ben Waddell will not be back for a second season.
Us Weekly previously confirmed that West, 31, and Amanda, 34, are also not returning for season 11 in the aftermath of their relationship scandal. The pair announced their romance in March, just two months Kyle, 43, and Amanda, 34, confirmed their plans to separate after four years of marriage.
The drama was escalated due to West’s history with Amanda’s best friend Ciara, who he dated in 2023.
Ciara, for her part, broke her silence on the scandal in an April interview with Glamour.
“Just know when something’s weird in your gut, there’s a reason. What’s done in the dark always comes to light,” she told the outlet. “And sometimes you really don’t even have to do anything except sit back and let the universe handle it all.”
Ciara specifically called out Amanda’s behavior, referring to their last conversation as “minimal.”

“At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy. Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can’t put anything past a man,” she said. “But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long. I think that’s the craziest part.”
While calling into the Aftersun finale, Ciara got emotional while discussing Islander Melanie Moreno, whose family didn’t approve of her connection with Sincere Rhea.
“I was in tears when it came to her mom speaking life into her. I’m having chills right now,” Ciara said. “Like, to say that your heart is sacred and to not let a man steal your essence … Oh, my God, I will rewatch that scene forever and ever. I hope I can breathe those same words into my daughter one day.”
Ciara acknowledged that she was “getting emotional,” reflecting on her own experiences in the dating world.
“It’s really hard. It’s really hard dating sometimes,” she added. “I don’t know why I’m crying. It’s so hard dating. I feel like you get ripped apart for everything when you’re a girl in your 20s and you’re trying to figure it out.”
Ciara continued: “I feel like I’ve been in Melanie’s position so many instances in my life where you’re like, ‘But I like him.’ And it feels like an uphill battle sometimes. Or you’re working against gravity so hard.”
The Bravo star — who will also compete on Dancing With the Stars this fall — was glad to see Melanie have the support of her loved ones.
“But for some people who can’t really talk to their parents about it, it’s so nice to have them ground you in a situation that sometimes you’re unsure about,” she added. “To just remind you who you are — and that’s where you feel like these female friendships are so important. I just thought it was such a beautiful moment. I’m crying now, but I was crying with Melanie and her mom while I was watching it.”
