Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” music video served as the location for a truly one-of-a-kind date with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
“I think she felt very supported by his presence, and probably also proud to show him what she does and the kind of leader she is,” cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto told People in an interview published on Wednesday, December 4, calling Kelce, 35, a “lovely man.”
“They both are. I would say that it seems like their parents educated them well,” Prieto added. “They are not just polite, but actually interested in what others have to say.”
Swift, 34, previously revealed at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year that Kelce was present on the set of the music video for her Tortured Poets Department duet with Post Malone. (The video also starred Josh Charles and Ethan Hawke in a nod to their roles in the iconic movie The Dead Poets Society.)
“It actually was, like, the most fun video to make,” Swift said during her Video of the Year acceptance speech in September. “Something that I’ll always remember is when I would finish a take and I’d say cut and we’d be done with that take, I would always just hear someone cheering ‘woo’ from across the studio where we were shooting it — and that one person was my boyfriend, Travis.”
She continued, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic, so I wanna thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that.”

Swift has been dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end since 2023 after a missed connection at her Eras Tour that July and a “metal as hell” shout-out on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. (He infamously claimed to be “butthurt” that they were unable to meet and exchange phone numbers after the Kansas City concert.)
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift recalled during her 2023 TIME Person of the Year profile. “We started hanging out right after that. We actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for because we got to get to know each other.”
Swift and Kelce went public in September 2023 when she attended one of his NFL games.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” Swift added at the time.
Kelce is equally proud of Swift, often attending her Eras Tour concerts and declaring his appreciation for her songs. A few TTPD tracks have even been heavily rumored to pay homage to their real-life love story.
“I’m not gonna lie, I might be a little biased toward The Tortured Poets Department,” Kelce joked to Access Hollywood in May. “Just a little bit. Just a little biased.”
Swift and Kelce’s relationship has continued to heat up throughout the holidays. After spending Thanksgiving together last month, a source exclusively revealed in the latest Us Weekly cover story that the pair plan to celebrate Christmas as a couple, too.
“Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” another source told Us of Swift’s post-tour plans. “They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple.”
