Summer House alum Amanda Batula and boyfriend West Wilson appear to be a packaged deal following their romance scandal.
“The In the City cast refused to film with West, so Amanda decided not to come back for next season,” a source exclusively tells Us, revealing that Amanda, 35, “was asked back” before ultimately choosing not to return for season 2 of the spinoff series.
“Amanda truly wanted a break, and wanted a break from the world having insight into her life and dissecting her relationship,” the source tells Us of her choice to press pause on reality TV. “West has been an emotional crutch for her and she was not going to film without him.”
With Amanda’s departure comes an opening in the cast, which the source tells Us will be filled by Natasha Parker.
Natasha, who previously starred on The Bachelor, “has been friends with Lindsay [Hubbard] and Carl [Radke] for a long time,” the insider notes, referring to the Summer House OGs. (Lindsay, 40, was on season 1 of the spinoff, while Carl, 41, is reportedly part of the season 2 cast.)
Amanda, for her part, starred on season 1 of In the City alongside then-husband, Kyle Cooke. The spinoff documented the final months of her and Kyle’s marriage, including Amanda’s decision to move out of their joint apartment in fall 2025.
Amanda and Kyle, 44, announced in January that they had separated after four years of marriage — all of which were seen on Summer House. Amanda and West, meanwhile, sparked dating rumors in February.
While the pair initially denied they were anything other than friends, they confirmed their romantic relationship in late March, sending shockwaves through the Bravoverse.
Despite receiving backlash for her romance with West — who previously dated Amanda’s close friend and Summer House costar Ciara Miller — the pair are “still going strong,” the insider adds.
“They have had their ups and downs but basically live together now and are still very serious,” the source shares.
Us has reached out to Bravo and Amanda’s rep for comment.

Us previously revealed that Amanda and West would not be returning for season 11 of Summer House, which filmed in the Hamptons this past summer.
At the time, Amanda’s future on In the City had yet to be decided, but a source told Us in August that her connection to West could be problematic.
“There is still some tension surrounding West,” the insider said at the time. “If Amanda returns for a second season of the show, the cast would not be particularly welcoming toward him.”
The source explained, “They aren’t friends with him in real life. They don’t like him because of what happened with [him and] Ciara. They are friends with Ciara and Kyle and have loyalty to them.”
Amanda’s In the City costars “have no interest in befriending him, even for [her],” the insider added.
Amanda seemingly hinted at her departure from In the City on Thursday, October 29.
“Kyle realized that when Amanda declined to film the upcoming season of #inthecity that he could no longer control or manipulate her anymore and melted down in West’s IG comments,” one fan wrote via X on Thursday, referring to Amanda’s estranged husband, Kyle, calling her boyfriend a “coke-head” who “blew” up Amanda’s life in a since-deleted Instagram comment.

Amanda appeared to endorse the fan theory, reposting the message to her own page with a target emoji.
Kyle, for his part, addressed his post about West allegedly ruining Amanda’s life, via his Instagram Story that same evening.
“There’s already enough negativity online, and the last thing I want to do is add to it. So I want to be clear, and then I’m leaving this alone,” Kyle wrote. “Despite our differences, I will always care about Amanda, and when it comes to people I care about, I fight hard. Sometimes too hard. It’s been an emotional and frustrating situation, and I have let those feelings get the better of me at times. But that doesn’t mean my concerns aren’t valid.”
The Loverboy founder added, “Ultimately, I wanted us both to have the opportunity to share our perspectives on the show. But at the end of the day, Amanda has her own life and makes her own decisions, just as I make mine. I’ll leave it there. Thanks everyone ❤️.”
