'He's Just Not That Into You' Cast: Where Are They Now?

All-star cast! Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston and more Hollywood favorites appeared in the 2009 romantic comedy He’s Just Not That Into You. Based on the 2004 self-help book of the same name, the movie follows nine characters who are all experiencing major trouble in their love lives. Gigi (Ginnifer Goodwin) is at the center of the story and acts as a common thread between the other eight people. When Gigi meets Alex (Justin Long), he attempts to help her be more successful at dating — until he realizes his own feelings for her. Along with Goodwin and the New Girl alum, the feel-good flick stars Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johansson and more. While it was met with mixed reviews from critics after its February 2009 release, the rom-com led its opening weekend with $27.8 million at the box office. The movie sparked a real-life romance between Long and Barrymore, who dated on and off until 2010. A decade later, the exes proved they were still on good terms with a funny social media exchange in the comments of Paper magazine’s Instagram. Ben Affleck (Neil)

Following He's Just Not That Into You, Affleck appeared in and directed 2010’s The Town and 2012’s Argo, which was nominated for seven Oscars and won three, including Best Picture. Other notable film credits include 2014’s Gone Girl, 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, 2017’s Justice League and 2021’s The Last Duel.

The Deep Water star was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018 and the pair share three kids: Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. Two years after the divorce, Affleck told The New York Times the end of his marriage was one of his biggest regrets, reflecting on his struggles with alcoholism. In the wake of his split from Garner, the producer dated Lindsay Shookus and Ana de Armas before rekindling his mid-2000s romance with Jennifer Lopez in early 2021. Affleck and the “Jenny From the Block” singer tied the knot in summer 2022.

Jennifer Aniston (Beth)

Jennifer Connelly (Janine)

Kevin Connolly (Conor)

The New Yorker is most widely recognized for playing the role of Eric Murphy in HBO’s Entourage, which he reprised in the 2015 film version of the popular series. The Notebook actor has since moved behind the camera, directing a handful of feature films over the years.

In 2020, Connolly was accused of sexual assault by a costume designer who worked on his 2007 movie Gardener of Eden, which he denied. One year later, news broke that he was expecting his first child with actress Zulay Henao. Daughter Kennedy arrived in June 2021.

Throughout his impressive career, the Silver Linings Playbook star has been nominated for eight Oscars and a Tony, winning two Grammys and a BAFTA. Before earning his breakthrough role in The Hangover franchise, Cooper appeared on Sex and the City and Alias. He later starred in American Hustle (2013) and American Sniper (2014) ahead of making his directorial debut with A Star Is Born (2018).

The Limitless actor was married to Jennifer Esposito from 2006 to 2007 before moving on with Zoe Saldana and later Suki Waterhouse. From 2015 to 2019, he dated Irina Shayk, with whom he welcomed daughter Lea de Seine in 2017.

Ginnifer Goodwin (Gigi)

The army veteran moved to Nashville in 1965 and quickly earned recognition for his songwriting prowess. The Connecticut native has starred in Dodgeball (2004), Accepted (2006), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), Drag Me to Hell (2009) and The Lookalike (2014). Beginning in 2011, he nabbed a recurring role on Fox’s New Girl, which ended in 2018 after seven seasons. He later voiced Kevin Murphy in Netflix’s ​​F Is for Family.

The This Will Only Hurt a Little author shares two children — Birdie and Cricket — with ex-husband Marc Silverstein. Philipps announced in May 2022 that she and Silverstein had called it quits, revealing on her podcast that they separated one year prior in February 2021.
