What’s the minor detail most people are scared to add into their wardrobe? Color, of course! People are more comfortable throwing shade than adding it to their daily outfits. While the detail may be minor, it can have a major impact. Finding the right pop of color is always easier said than done. So what’s a girl to do?

The simple solution? Baby steps! It’s best to start slow when adding colorful pieces into our wardrobe. In fact, when looking to dip our feet in the color pool, this two-toned sheath dress is the perfect balance.

The Lindsey Sheath Dress is the perfect piece to reach for when looking for the best of both worlds.

Truth be told, stepping out of our comfort zones when it comes to our closets can be difficult. We’ve grown accustomed to all the pieces within our wardrobe, but we’ve also grown attached to them. And it’s only natural to be a bit nervous when looking to slip into something outside what we’re familiar of. The clothes currently in our closet make us look our best and feel it, too. So, it’s a bit daunting to think of wearing anything else.

Looking to master the art of wearing color? This sheath dress will have everyone looking and feeling like a pro in an effortless way.

This dress comes available in two shades, black/ivory and new navy. Honestly, both color combinations are stunning. When looking for a more “classic” of the two, the black and ivory option is the best bet. It’s the traditional white and black combination that will add just the right amount of pop, without feeling overwhelmed. The same applies to the navy version, too. The navy-based dress features a red, white and black horizontal stripe across its midsection. It’s the perfect pop of color when looking to add a little extra something to our day-to-day wardrobes.

Every dress lover knows how slippery of a slope it can be when looking to slip into more of a fitted dress. Some dresses are too clingy while others are too loose, but this dress is that magical silhouette that’s perfectly well-fitting.

The mock turtleneck is snug up top but thanks to the side panels and asymmetrical detailing, it can conceal a midsection with ease. It’s the feminine and flirty detail that pays tribute to the traditional DVF wrap. We can also tighten or loosen the side box for the perfect fit, too.

There’s also a hidden back zipper to put this dress on easily and a back slit in the skirt to make walking and sitting much easier than a too-tight pencil skirt. Plus, it adds just right amount of edge without showing too much skin.

We can wear this dress all on its own and make a statement or pair it with other favorites in our wardrobe. It’s perfect when looking to swing a leather jacket over our shoulders or slip into a pair of black booties. It’s unexpected but very well-received.

Whether we’re slipping into a pair of classic pump heels and heading off to work or pairing with easy flat sandals or even sneakers, this two-toned dress is the easy-to-wear dress that makes color anything but scary.
