Know that feeling when we’re looking through our closet and can’t decide what to wear? (Only every single day of our lives.) Mendes was recently spotted in her Hannah dress, looking beautifully breezy with her gorgeous locks hanging loosely over her shoulders. She let the belt of the dress hang down like a tie as opposed to looping it into a bow. On her feet, she wore white skinny heels, and she finished off the look by accessorizing with big hoop earrings, looking like summertime.
Speaking white heels, if we’re into the adorable white heels the model is wearing on New York & Company’s site, guess what? They’re also from the Eva Mendes Collection — the White Block-Heel Sandals. They’re on sale too! Mendes has also been spotted out in LA wearing the exact combination of the Hannah dress and these white sandals!
This 100% cotton white shirtdress is inspired by a classic dress shirt style, but with fun striped, multi-color, varying patterns throughout. Now these are the types of fine lines we like to see on ourselves! We’ll pass on the face ones, please. The vertical stripes “command attention,” mixing a mustard yellow, shades of blue, red and brown.
This dress has a hidden button-front closure, which lets the grosgrain tie belt shine at the upper waist. This belt is silky, yet sporty, and its blue matches the stripes on the dress, pulling the look together. It also has two thin white lines running horizontally across. We can adjust this belt to fit the look we’re aiming for. We can let it hang like Mendes, or we can tie in into a tight bow, keeping it at our side or moving it around to the front or back.

Up top, we’ll find a V-neckline and a classic shirt collar, while if we shift our eyes down, we’ll see our favorite dress feature ever: pockets! They are slash style and we will be sticking our hands in them as we practice our runway walk down our driveway.
The sleeves are something else, and that something else is fabulous. They’re balloon style sleeves, stopping three-quarters of the way down our arm, ballooning out just below our elbow. This feminine touch is not only pretty and unique, but trendy, too. These sleeves also leave plenty of room for us to accessorize with layered bangles or sweet and dainty chain or charm bracelets.
The best part about a shirtdress like this is that it’s made to be worn, not just for one occasion, but for basically every occasion. It’s more than professional enough to wear to job interviews, important meetings and business dinners, but depending on how it’s accessorized, it can also work as a casual piece, too. We’re picturing ourselves wearing it while sitting under an umbrella on a sunny sidewalk, enjoying our brunch and maybe posing for a photo or two. What? In this vision, we look really good and we need to document it.
