Slippers are an extremely underrated form of footwear. Often, we try a pair when we’re younger and think, “This is nothing special.” They feel more like a nuisance than a must-have. So we risk going barefoot or slip on socks, hoping our toes won’t freeze and that we won’t step on any loose Legos. (Ouch.) We also may end up with majorly dirty feet that have us feeling guilty when we climb in between clean sheets. So how do we get around this? We’re not going to wear sneakers or boots around the house! We’re going to wear this actual high-quality, crazy-comfy slippers instead. That sounds much better.
The Ugg Scuffette II Water Resistant Slipper has thousands of positive reviews and recently got a major seal of approval when supermodel Gigi Hadid was spotted wearing them in the streets of New York City. Between photo shoots and runway shows, Hadid basically lives in high heels, but even a professional model could use the comfort and relief offered by a good pair of slippers sometimes!

Shoppers are saying that we will “absolutely adore” this wool slipper. One said they “look forward to sliding into [their Scuffettes] every night.” Others commented on the amazing quality, saying that these comfortable everyday shoes “hold up for a long, long time” and are loving how they can be worn both indoors and outdoors. One said they no longer have to worry about their slippers “withering with the elements” just because the weather isn’t perfect!
These slippers have a shearling trim, as expected of Ugg, and are lined with wool made specifically to feel and wear like genuine shearling. The comfort and warmth is undeniable, and the water-resistant suede brings fashion and function together to create a wear-everywhere slipper that conforms to our feet as we wear them for maximum coziness. The 5mm of cushioning foam doesn’t hurt either!
How about some visual details? There is a center seam running down the top of the shoe, as well as a subtle Ugg logo on the side, right next to the trim. These slippers also have Ugg’s immediately recognizable round toe!
The sole of this slipper is made of a durable, cork-infused rubber, which is thin as to not distract from our cozy vibes, but strong enough to endure outdoor wear, as shown by Hadid.
Wearing the Chestnut color, Hadid styled her Scuffette slippers with a red turtleneck, matching lipstick, an unbuttoned denim jacket, a long puffer coat and dark-wash jeans. She also left her blonde hair down and wore white socks for an extra layer of warmth. It’s an excellent cozy-casual-chic look we could all easily recreate with some pieces already in our closest!
We can choose to wear Chestnut like Hadid, but this slipper also comes in a whole bunch of other colors! Also at Nordstrom is a black shade with a dark grey trim and lining for those looking to match with a black purse or belt. At both Zappos and Amazon, the Espresso and Sand shades are also available! Espresso is a deep, dark brown with a cream trim and lining, while Sand lightens things up for a beige shoe, also with cream details.
Even more options are also available at Amazon: Bodacious, Fawn and Chestnut Idyllwild. Bodacious is a hot pink all around, apart from the barely-visible brown sole. It’s a fun pop which cheers us up, especially when we’re relaxing after a long day. Fawn is a light tan with a matching trim and lining, and Chestnut Idyllwild brings a pattern into the mix! It’s the same colors as the regular Chestnut, but with a cute, dotted pattern to match the trim!
While we’re feeling super inspired by Hadid’s look, we can certainly explore more styles. We would obviously pair these slippers, first and foremost, with our pajamas! That’s an every-night look we’ll never get sick of. For out-of-the-house wear, we also think these slippers would look very cute with a pair of cropped, wide-legged pants or with some fitted joggers for an extra comfy day out and about! Either way, our feet are going to love us.
