We want to talk jeans. We probably wear jeans more than we wear any other item of clothing, and that’s for our entire lifespan! So why do we always find ourselves falling into unremarkable brands’ traps over and over again? There’s nothing worse than having to buy a new pair of jeans every other month because the cheaply-made pair we ordered stretched out, ripped and faded as soon as we cut off the tags. Jeans are like friends. We can’t just pick at random and expect a lasting relationship every time. We need to find someone, or a brand, we can trust will stick around for the long term.

The 7 For All Mankind B(air) Denim Ankle Skinny Jean is basically our soulmate. It’s like love at first sight, but even more reliable because we know this jean won’t ever give up on us. 7 For All Mankind has been leading the denim industry for almost 20 years now with “sophisticated fits, innovated washes and trendsetting styles” and these skinnies have all that and a bag of chips. Really comfortable and stretchy chips.

Shoppers are, of course, loving this pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans, expecting no less than excellence from the brand. One called them “a dream to wear,” specifically noting that they “hold their shape all day long.” Another said how they wore these jeans on a commercial flight for hours straight and still felt comfortable even in the confined space. One denim lover took it even further, saying that these jeans are a top choice for yoga, hiking and doing the splits all without “cutting off [our] blood circulation” or revealing more skin than we’d like to. Overall, almost everyone seems to believe in the “form-fitting and flattering” power of these lightweight bottoms.

We typically associate denim with a rough and rigid feeling. That’s what separates denim from fabrics like cotton and cashmere, right? Sure, for a lot of jeans, that is the case. But not for the B(air) ankle skinnies. The fabric of this denim is “silky-soft” as well as shockingly stretchy. The jeans were “designed to comfortably move” with us, which means no painful restrictions or worries about adding a distressed detail where no distressed detail should ever go.

These jeans are lightly faded on the thighs and knees for a vintage look, with whiskering at the hips, a forever-favorite detail on denim. They have a mid-rise fit sitting just above the hips, and it’s there we’ll find the belt loops. Mid-rise bottoms are great for tucking in tops, which is often a style even further enhanced by adding a belt with a unique texture or statement buckle.

These jeans are ankle length, so we don’t need to add any extra cuffs in order to avoid an accordion effect when the bottoms clash with ankle booties. The button closure back up top is rose gold, matching the other tiny hardware details at the pockets. This rose gold is like a blend of the colors of the two logo patches on the back of the pants. There’s a narrow red and gold patch with a “7” on it at the waistband, and there’s another atop the back right pocket in the same colors that says “for all mankind.” Mix red and gold together and voila, rose gold!

We know that everyone knows how to wear denim. Like we said, we’ve all been doing it for longer than we can even remember. But that means things might get a little stale sometimes. We could fall on a crutch outfit or feel stuck in a rut wearing the same things over and over again. So why not a little inspiration?

We’ll get everyone started with an outfit idea. We’d recommend pairing these 7 For All Mankind jeans with some comfortable wedge booties, a basic top with a twist and a boho-chic bag. Don’t forget to accessorize with some bold rings! Now go on. Try these on and feel the true meaning of fate!
