Off to the races! Much like her bestie Meghan Markle, all eyes are on Priyanka Chopra — and the speculation game has started as to what she will choose to wear on her wedding day to Nick Jonas. If her prior sartorial decisions are any indication, the look is going to be a stunner. Just take a peek at what she wore to celebrate her bachelorette party and her bridal shower!
The Quantico actress feted her last days as a single lady in Amsterdam (yes future sister-in-law Sophie Turner was there, yes they wore adorable matching sleeping masks), on Saturday, November 3, wearing a statement dress (seen above) to say the least. Her choice? Georges Chakra Couture. The frock was a white long-sleeve beaded cocktail dress with feather detailing and a dainty duster. It was one part 1930s film star, one part showgirl and all parts gorgeous. Of course, Chopra is known for her taste in ultra-feminine and quirky pieces, so this frock hits all the right notes for her. And of course, she upped the glam by wearing her signature white Christian Louboutin stiletto pumps and topping the statement look with an oversized white faux fur coat.
Just a week earlier, the red carpet staple celebrated her bridal shower in NYC at the Tiffany & Co Blue Box Cafe on Sunday, October 28. Chopra donned an exquisite white strapless column gown with a wrapped satin bodice and a half-brocade-half-feathered skirt that was whimsical and girly, as well as subtly sexy.
From what the Baywatch actress has worn in the lead up to her nuptials, we have a couple interesting clues: she’s been sticking with form-fitting silhouettes. Perhaps Chopra will ditch the princess gown in favor of something figure-skimming. Another key hint: the Bollywood star is a huge fan of embellishment, feather embellishment in particular. It’s entirely possible that she will shirk the trend of pared-down and simple wedding gowns for an elaborately detailed number.
But one thing we know for sure is that if her prior choices are any indication, Chopra will walk down the aisle in a number that is a showstopper.
