Travis Kelce brought his signature flair to his wedding day ensemble.

Kelce, 36, tied the knot with fiancée Taylor Swift in a “whimsical” ceremony at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, where he surely looked dapper in a classic tuxedo designed by Christian Dior. Swift, also 36, wore a bespoke gown designed by the same couture house.

“The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” a press release reads. “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.”

Days before the big day, Kelce’s stylist Danielle Salzedo arrived in NYC and commemorated the moment with a social media snap of the city’s skyline while Kelce’s barber, Vince Garcia, also uploaded an Instagram selfie geo-tagged in Manhattan that seemingly confirmed they were working with the NFL star on the big day.

Wearing a formal suit was likely reminiscent of the custom tux he wore during his Eras Tour cameo. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end joined Swift during the London leg of her concerts in June 2024, donning a classic suit with a top hat and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Long before Kelce designed his wedding threads, he had shown an interest in fashion.

“Without a doubt, I think the football world is starting to kind of come around to being that fashion-forward mentality,” he told Complex magazine in September 2021, detailing how he specifically puts together outfits on NFL game days. “And our game days are 16, 17 weeks, now 18 weeks out of the year. So it’s like we get, almost, anticipation for those big-time moments. It’s almost like it’s a red carpet every single week.”

He added, “I know in Kansas City, we have to be business casual [in] slacks. You can’t go full jeans and a T-shirt on an away game. Like, you have to actually dress business casual. So I think it’s a little bit more of a red carpet on the week-to-week and regular-season games in the NFL. And I don’t know, it’s just been a whole lot of fun kind of being in the mix of all that.”

Salzedo, for her part, previously told Us Weekly that Kelce has his own vision for ensembles.

“Travis has a clear vision for his personal aesthetic and definitely styles himself,” Salzedo exclusively told Us in November 2023. “I know what he likes, and I find him options with brands we know are his vibe — while also looking for new ones yet to be discovered. … He plays a lot with monochromatic sets as well as oversized [looks]. He doesn’t shy away from mixing prints in unexpected ways.”
