Hello, gorgeous! The 2019 Grammy Awards took Downtown Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium by storm on Sunday, February 10, and we can’t stop thinking about the glitz, the glam and the statement-making hair, makeup and nails on the red carpet. (Here’s who actually won every award! Read on to see who “won” our top picks in the beauty department.)

The night was an occasion to celebrate icons — from 73-year-old Dolly Parton, to Diana Ross, celebrating her 75^th birthday.  The stars of pop, rock and country followed suit, displaying looks fit for royalty. Case in point: Cardi B rocked a vintage Thierry Mugler gown for a look that harkened to mind 1980’s Madonna and The Little Mermaid’s Ursula. JLo hit the red carpet with a hat the size of her native Bronx. Some looks were just totally wild!

Likewise, Tracee Ellis Ross wore her hair in dramatic braids that grazed her knees and Cardi B adorned her nails with no less than 200 Swarovski crystals. The dudes brought the drama too; few wore the requisite tux — check out every hot guy in suits here!

10. H.E.R.’s Glitter Part

Shine on: the best R&B Album and R&B Performance double winner brought a little extra sparkle to the party, wearing an unexpected hair part lined in silver rhinestones.

9. Cardi B’s Crystal Nails

Bring the bling! Leave it to the singer to rock a manicure encrusted with over 200 Swarovski crystals. Nail artist Jenny Bui applied OPI Gel Polish in Machu Peach-u for the foundation of the look, then affixed 15-20 small Swarovski crystals around large center stones. Now that’s 'Money', baby!

8. Bebe Rexha’s Edgy Updo

A ‘do to die for! Stylist Ursula Stephen created a “gritty half-up style” for the ‘I Got You’ singer and the imperfect nature of it makes it super easy to achieve. After prepping hair with TRESemme Thermal Creations Blow Dry Balm from roots to ends and spritzing with TRESemme’s Thermal Creations Blow Dry Accelerator Spray, Stephen rough-dried locks using a paddle brush to smooth. Then, she sprayed Love Beauty and Planet’s Coconut Milk & White Jasmine Medium Hold & Volume Spray on before flat ironing hair to add hold. For added grit, she shot a generous dose of Dove Care Between Invisible Dry Shampoo, then started weaving the half-up style in the back.

7. Tracee Ellis Ross’ mile-long braids

Hair down to there! The Black-ish star relied on the show’s Department Head of Hair Araxi Lindsay to style her locks and wow, did they turn heads! Ross, whose mother, Diana Ross, was honored at the Grammys, walked the red carpet in a bright green Ralph & Russo pantsuit and braids that landed just above her knees. In subtle contrast, makeup artist Lisa Storey brought out Ross’ eyes with the bronze and platinum hues in Pat McGrath Labs MothershipV Bronze Seduction Eye Palette and adorned lips with the “long-lasting nude” Mattetrance Lipstick in 1995 with a swipe of Lust Gloss in Bronze Divinity “for the ultimate golden sparkle.”

6. Janelle Monae’s Bold Lashes

What better look for the Dirty Computer singer than a ladylike space alien? Monae’s makeup artist Jessica Smalls describes the look “as if an extraterrestrial landed on earth and attended the Grammys.” The eyes had it, including a “hit of gold shadow” on lids and gorgeous, fluttery lashes. For the fringe, Smalls used Lashify “B” Gossamers, applying 16mm clusters at the center of each eye, 14mm ones on each side and 12mm lashes at the outer corners, for a rounded, wide-eyed shape.

5. Camila Cabello’s Blushing Cheeks

In the pink: There were many things we loved about the ‘Havana’ phenom’s look, but what truly stood out were her fresh, flushed-from-within cheeks with coordinating lip color. Cabello’s makeup pro, Allan Avendano, hit the star’s cheekbones with a sweep of highlighter, specifically L’Oreal’s True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator in Rose, after applying the brand’s Paradise Blush in Fantastical. Lips were kissed with a shade from her collection, Havana Lip Dew in Lit Up, over Color Riche Matte Lip Liner in Mattes It.

4. Miley Cyrus’ Kitten Flicks

Meow! For the singer (and newlywed!), makeup pro James Kaliardos painted the daintiest of winged liner to bring out her eyes in a subtle yet sexy way.

3. Kelsea Ballerini’s Orange Pout

Hot lips! The ‘I Hate Love Songs’ singer’s makeup artist, Kelsey Deenihan, wanted to create “an ethereall look with a pop of color,” she says, so she layered two unexpected pout products to create the fiery hue: A coat of eos Ruby Tint lip balm was topped with Charlotte Tilbury’s Hot Lips lipstick in the shade Tell Laura. The perfect compement? A wash of sheer bronze on lids, thanks to Avon True Color Glimmersticks Eye Liner in Cosmic Brown and the bottom right color from the Viseart Theory Palette in 07 Sire.

2. Lady Gaga’s Morning-After Waves

What hair to wear with the best-dressed gown of the night? If you’re Gaga, you go decidedly low-key with undone waves. The ‘A Star is Born’ actress and vocalist’s hair pro, Frederic Aspiras was inspired by “rock star” culture and the character Ally from ASIB to create “a more lived in look with lots of texture, experimenting with “two types of waves” to get that sexy, bedhead style. He prepped hair with Joico’s Defy Damage Protective Shield before blow-drying, then alternated between S waves created on a flat iron and barrel waves using a “curl and slide” technique. The combination created “that lived in look.” The finishing touch: a dab of Joico Blonde Life Brilliant Glow Brightening Oil on ends.

The host made five fabulous wardrobe changes, complete with hairstyle swaps but one thing remained constantly gorgeous throughout the show: Keys, known for her no makeup movement, showed off glowing skin, her freckles and a seemingly effortless no-makeup makeup look. Her pro, Dotti, simply blended a touch of Burt’s Bees Complete Nourishment Facial Oil with a drop each of the brand’s Goodness Glows Full Coverage Liquid Makeup in Walnut and Deep Maple to impart a golden natural look. Burt’s Bees All Aglow Lip & Cheek Sticks in Peach Pond and Peony Pool added a subtle glow to the apples of cheeks. On lips: Dotti mixed Peony Dew and Nude Rain Burt’s Bees Glossy Lipsticks.
