Kiss Me Pink

Olivia Culpo made the case for a twist on a classic: a just-so-slightly-pink red lipstick for the most romantic day of the year. The bright hue keeps things unexpected, while still remaining on theme — proving that a fresh take on a classic is always a good bet. Keep the rest of the look clean and fresh so as to avoid looking overdone.

Dream of Genie

Ashley Graham took the genie ponytail to the next level by adding a wet-look effect into the mix. Once celebrity stylist Justine Marjan had fashioned an ultra-long, curly ponytail for the supermodel, she ran Tresemme Keratin smooth serum through the length of the end and then sprayed Tresemme Micromist Hairspray on generously for a wet and textured effect.

Keep it Sleek

The star of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel graced the red carpet for the amFar gala in NYC in the perfect desk-to-date-night hair look: the sleek ponytail. Brosnahan’s middle-parted raven strands were smoothed and pulled back at the nape of her head by celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson. We suggest using a toothbrush with some hairspray on it to ensure not a hair is out of place before you rush out the door. This look is easy to recreate yourself and looks major with a swipe of red lipstick to up the wow-factor, but bear in mind, when your hair is pulled back, your skin suddenly gets center stage. That's why Makeup artist Lisa Aharon used the Sisley Black Rose Cream mask to prep the actress’s porcelain skin for the event, and we’re told that the actress receives the Red Carpet Facial at the Tracie Martyn Salon to maintain her flawless skin.

Flirty Feline Eye

A beauty look so good, you won’t be able to stop batting your eyes! Makeup artist Hung Vanngo created an exaggerated smokey cat eye for Olivia Culpo that relied on Marc Jacobs Beauty Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Blacquer along the lash line (the liner was applied for a heavier, sexy, sleepy lid). Then, Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Line Crayon was smudged into the liquid for a smokey effect (think polished Amy Winehouse) and the look was finished with heavy fluttery lashes courtesy of Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara. To keep the look chic, take a Culpo and leave the rest of your makeup in the nude family.

Berry Pretty

Makeup artist Gita Bass created the prettiest berry-stained lip for Shameless actress Emmy Rossum using the NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Palais Royal. Brushed-up brows, fluttery lashes and a subtle flush completed the simply romantic look. Her face-framing waves by hairstylist Lacy Redway don’t hurt either!

Pretty in Pink

Margot Robbie modeled the perfect kissable posey pink lip at the premiere of Peter Rabbit. It was bright and a pinker than a your-lips-but-better shade, but the hue was a welcome fresh pop of color for the face — making us all the more excited for Springtime. But, alas, Valentine’s Day is closer — and so is the necessity for a flirty lip. Enter the two lip products celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff used to create Robbie’s bespoke lippIe: Chanel Poudre Levres Rosa Tempera and Rouge Allure Ink in 150 Luxurian.

Glossy Goddess

Give your strands an ultra-romantic and fuss-free style by loosely French braiding and then pulling it loose, like celebrity hairstylist Aviva Perea did for Beth Behrs. The finishing touch: a simple black ribbon tied into a bow to secure the look.

Monochromatic Magic

Margot Robbie ravished in red, complementing her crimson sequin dress with romantic loose curls and a show stopping, matching pink eyeshadow and lip combo by makeup artist Pati Dubroff.

Natural Beauty

Glowing skin is always in as Kerry Washington proved. To keep her skin radiant, makeup artist Carola Gonzalez applied the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel to plump skin and increase moisture, before perfecting her complexion with the brand’s Hydro Boost Hydrating Concealer in Deep and Hydro Boost Hydrating Tint in Cocoa.

Old-School Glam

Makeup artist Scott Barnes crafted J.Lo’s blindingly radiant complexion, sculpted cheekbones and nude lip, while hairstylist Chris Appleton created the curly faux-pixie that screamed Old Hollywood pinup.

Perfect Pony

Sarah Potempa, celebrity hairstylist and inventor of The Beachwaver Co., is the woman behind Lea Michele’s bubbly ponytail, and she told Us exclusively that she first smoothed that actress’ hair with The Beachwaver Co. Coast Pro Ceramic Styling Iron and On Set Styling Brush before spacing hair elastics down the length of the tail and wrapping a piece of hair around each for a polished finish.

Modern Romance

Hairstylist Ryan Richman created Sarah Hyland’s “sleek” hair look in just two easy steps: first prepping her damp hair with Paul Mitchell’s Smoothing Super Skinny Serum before blowdrying it straight and smoothing strands with the brand’s Pro Tools Express Ion Smooth+ flat iron. For the actress’ perfect berry lip, makeup artist Allan Avendaño first applied Kevyn Aucoin’s Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium before layering the Tarte Cosmetics Matte Lipsurgence Lip Tint in Fiery on top. He used the Maybelline x Gigi Hadid East Coast Glam Gel Liner to craft the perfect feline flick.

Bombshell Blowout

All you’ll need it a volumizing spray and curling iron to recreate Rita Ora’s sultry waves. Hairstylist Brent Lawler recommends spraying John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Spray to each section of hair for lift and texture before blowing dry with a round brush and then curling the hair away from the face with a 2-inch curling iron.

Arch Emphasis

Makeup artist Gita Bass created Emmy Rossum’s subtly sexy look, which included glowing skin, a metallic smokey eye and fabulously feathered brows that ensure eye contact will never be an issue again. To recreate the look, brush brows in upward strokes before applying a clear gel to keep them in place.

Sleek and Shiny

Hairstylist Chad Wood used the soon-to-be-launching Hair Rituel by Sisley collection to create Olivia Munn’s smooth, luscious locks. He gave her a blowout using the Revitalizing Fortifying Serum before creating a graphic center part and straightening the hair with his ghd flatiron. The finishing touch was an additional dose of “healthy shine” courtesy of the Hair Rituel by Sisley Precious Hair Care Oil.

Bronze Goddess

To warm up Nicole Kidman’s porcelain skin, makeup artist Molly Stern first applied Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends powder bronzer in Sunkissed to warm up the face and then added Healthy Skin Blush in Rosy for a pop of color. The finishing touch to Kidman’s plush, wine-stained pout came courtesy of the brand’s Hydro Boost Lip Shine in Velvety Wine.
