Jen Garner jokes about husband Ben Affleck at their daughter Violet's basketball games.

Ben Affleck is that dad. Jennifer Garner stopped by Live! With Kelly & Michael on Friday, April 11, to discuss her new football movie Draft Day with cohosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. It turns out her daughter Violet's basketball games are just as exciting!

"I clap for everyone who makes a shot on either team," Garner said, adding "because I feel like, good shot, great job." The sentiment is not reciprocated by her equally-famous husband Ben Affleck, who apparently gets riled up during matches. "Meanwhile, he's freaking out and I'm constantly like, 'stop it!'"

"You know, he’ll be saying, 'she's open! Do you see she's open?!'" Garner quipped of the father of three. "It's like, 'Ben, they're eight. You're yelling at an 8-year-old little girl. She will see that Violet is open and she will get the ball to her when it’s appropriate.'"

Garner also shared another funny Affleck story Wednesday, April 9, when she stopped by the Tonight Show to chat with Jimmy Fallon. The actress told Fallon her husband "loves his girls [daughters Violet, 8, and Seraphina, 5], but Affleck has been "psyched to finally have a little boy [Samuel, 2]."

"So, he taught him about his bits," Garner shared. "He taught him about his 'P' and his two 'N's.'"

The actor, who's been home with the kids while Garner has been busy with Draft Day, left Friday to begin filming Batman.
