Let's hear it for the family! Ben Affleck was beaming with pride as he accepted his award for Outstanding Producer at the Producers Guild Awards on Saturday, Jan. 26, but he quickly credited his win to wife Jennifer Garner and three young children.
"I want to thank my kids, who are lovely and beautiful," he stated during his acceptance speech on behalf of Argo. "[And] I want to thank my wife without whom I wouldn't be able to do anything, let alone direct movies."
Affleck and Garner, both 40, were affectionate with each other the entire night, an eyewitness tells Us Weekly.
"They were like the happiest couple around," the source said. At one point, Garner got up to use the restroom and Affleck followed to escort her out of the main room. At another, when Garner stepped up to the podium to present the Norman Lear Award to J.J. Abrams, Affleck was spotted smiling with pride at his wife of eight years.
The happily married pair are parents to three young children -- Violet, 7, Seraphina, 4, and Samuel, 10 months.
The Golden Globes earlier this month marked the first time in six years that the private couple posed together on the red carpet, the last time being the 64th Annual Golden Globes back in 2007, when Affleck was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in Hollywoodland.
At the Jan. 13 ceremonies, Affleck, who won the award for Best Director, also unabashedly thanked Garner: "I want to thank my wife who is the reason why I'm standing here. I adore you. I love you so much. Thanks for sitting through this. You are my everything." (Check out more photos from the Producers Guild Awards via PopSugar!)
Affleck beat out the producers of Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, Moonrise Kingdom, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Zero Dark Thirty, Les Miserables, Life of Pi, Django Unchained and Skyfall to take home the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer Saturday alongside colleagues George Clooney and Grant Heslov.
Other bold-named faces who mixed and mingled at the Hollywood event included Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman, who looked like they were having a fun girls' night out without their respective men, and Anne Hathaway, who kept things low-key with husband Adam Shulman.
Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren also chatted animatedly while showing off green nail polish that daughter Honor had picked out. Onlookers tell Us that she was later spotted laughing it up with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.
