Cardi B’s daughter just landed her first cover! The eight-months pregnant rapper showed off her nearly naked body on the cover of Rolling Stone with her fiancé, Offset.
After the July cover of the magazine leaked on Friday, June 15, Cardi shared the revealing image on Instagram.
“I guess it was too much to ask to wait until the official July release of our @rollingstone cover! This cover is so special to me and means so much!” she wrote. “Thank you to everyone who helped put this amazing cover together! Even tho it was leaked and suppose to be In gray f—k it 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️My daughter made it to the Rollin Stone cover !!!! Official release in July.You can’t ruined what’s for me ❤❤❤❤ROCKSTARS @offsetyrn.”
Cardi confirmed her pregnancy in April by revealing her baby bump in a skintight white dress during a performance on Saturday Night Live. The following month, she announced during an appearance on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show that the pair are expecting a baby girl.
“Shorty weighs 3 1/2 pounds,” she gushed in May. “She do! She do weigh 3 1/2 pounds. That’s pretty good for seven months because I was born 5 pounds.”
The “I Like It” rapper, who is due in July, announced in April that she was taking a break from performing until after she gives birth. She plans to return to the stage in September for the next leg of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic world tour.
The day after the Rolling Stone cover leaked, the music sensation had another milestone to celebrate — the one-year anniversary of her hit “Bodak Yellow.”
“I wanna give a special Happy Birthday to my baby BODAK YELLOW,” she wrote to her 25.6 million Instagram followers on Saturday, June 16. “You changed me life and made people give me a chance.No matter how many times i listen to you i will always love you ❤❤❤❤BODAKYELLOW💛🖤💛🖤💛BITCH IM WHO THEY TRINNA BE😤😤😤…I cant believe is been a year 😩You grew up soo fast.”
As for her relationship with Offset, who was accused of cheating on Cardi late last year, the Grammy nominee told Us Weekly in January that she “really want[s] to get married this year.”
