This post is brought to you by Us Weekly’s Shop With Us team. The Shop With Us team aims to highlight products and services our readers might find interesting and useful, such as wedding-guest outfits, purses, plus-size swimsuits, women's sneakers, bridal shapewear, and perfect gift ideas for everyone in your life. Product and service selection, however, is in no way intended to constitute an endorsement by either Us Weekly or of any celebrity mentioned in the post.

The Shop With Us team may receive products free of charge from manufacturers to test. In addition, Us Weekly receives compensation from the manufacturer of the products we write about when you click on a link and then purchase the product featured in an article. This does not drive our decision as to whether or not a product or service is featured or recommended. Shop With Us operates independently from the advertising sales team. We welcome your feedback at ShopWithUs@usmagazine.com. Happy shopping!

While it certainly doesn’t feel like it right now (we’re dressed in puffer jackets and about 17 layers of sweaters, thermals, scarves and vests) spring is truly just around the corner. OK, not “just around” the corner, but it’s slowly but surely inching closer and closer! Dreaming of a day where getting dressed doesn’t involve an hour-long process of making sure no inch of our skin is left uncovered? Same. We’re almost there!

Dreaming about spring and the warmer weather that’ll eventually be gracing us with its presence has us contemplating one major thing: Transitional clothing. We’ve finally reached that part of winter where we simply can’t bear adding yet another puffer coat or snow boots into our closets, so we’re starting to work on getting our wardrobe ready for the weird in-between weather we get when the seasons change.

Rather than going shopping for each individual item (because who has time for that?) we’re getting a little bit of help from on of our favorite subscription boxes, the Style Plan by Frank and Oak.

Canada-based Frank And Oak was started in Montreal in 2012 and features ethically-sourced and sustainably-made clothing. Each item is imagined and designed for real life — from denim in flattering fits we can wear every day, to button-downs made for wearing tucked into slacks for meetings and even slung over a sundress or bathing suit when the temps really warm up, each item is made for wearing wherever our day takes us.

If you ask us, the best way to experience Frank And Oak (and in turn, start working on pieces to help ease the eventual transition to less-frigid temps) is by signing up for a Style Plan. The plan is a new and easy service provided by the brand. Frank And Oak stylists handpick seasonal items based on personal preferences and then send them straight through to our doors. Don’t love what they picked? No worries, just pick other items before the box is shipped (there are 48 hours to do so). Something doesn’t fit or doesn’t look like we imagined can be returned or exchanged within seven days (absolutely free, too). We can also skip the month, if we don’t need any extra bits and bobs.

Prior to kicking off a Style Plan, each new customer has to fill out a short style survey. That survey includes details about preferred size, style taste and budget. Then, every month, stylists will pick out three items. There is no set cost, as the cost of the box depends on the items in it. We’re only charged for the items we choose to keep and each garment ranges from $29 to $149. Choose not to keep anything in the box? A $25 styling fee will be charged, though that fee is waived if we choose to keep at least one item from the box.

As for this month’s box? We got exactly what our hearts desire — pieces that can withstand the cold, yet are still versatile enough to be worn once it gets warmer.

Our first pick was a stunning sweaterdress! As the name suggests, Merino sweaterdress in black is made entirely of a supersoft merino wool. It has a raglan sleeve and small mock neck (so if we choose to wear it once it gets warmer out, it won’t feel like we’re being strangled). It hits just above the knee, perfect for pairing with fleece-lined tights when it’s chilly out and for rocking with bare legs and booties when the sun finally comes out. It’s also designed to be machine-washable, so no need to spend a fortune at the dry cleaner. This luxurious dress had a fair bit of weight when we pulled it out of the box, and it skimmed the body in a way that looked flattering but wasn’t constricting at all. Score!

We were trying to find a lightweight knit we can layer under heavier ones in the cold and wear solo come spring, so we added the Merino wool sweater in peach pink to our box and we certainly weren’t disappointed! The loose fit knit has a crewneck, a rib collar and hem and is made from that same machine-washable merino wool we loved so much in the sweaterdress. This one is decidedly lighter and just a touch sheer (at least it was in the peach pink color we received) so we recommend wearing a cami underneath if rocking this to work, or opting for nude underthings.

Finding a pair of jeans that hold their shape and look chic no matter what they’re teamed with is a struggle for even the most seasoned fashionista, so when we stumbled upon a pair in our suggestions for our Style Plan, we immediately knew we had to check them out! We’ve raved about Frank And Oak denim before and the pair we received certainly met our expectations. The Stevie High-Waisted Tapered Jean have a high-rise and slim fit through the hips and are made of 100 percent cotton. Word to the wise: These have just about zero stretch, so if a dinner date or brunch is on the menu (or just a day full of sitting) we recommend sizing up to make them optimally comfortable.

While we were lucky enough to have everything fit, the box leaves plenty of room for customization. We hand-selected our picks (the stylists initially suggested tees and a skirt and we will always choose jeans over something swishy!) and were able to list our preferred sizes for each article of clothing, from blouses to sweaters to denim and pants. It truly doesn’t get any easier!
