Not happening! Bekah Martinez cleared one thing up after admitting she was battling nausea — she isn’t expecting her second child.
“Why am I suddenly feeling EXTREMELY nauseous??? WTF is going on i just got done being sick,” the season 22 Bachelor alum, 24, captioned a close-up selfie on her Instagram Story on Thursday, May 2.
Posting a second similar pic, Martinez added: “And there’s NO chance of me being pregnant so don’t even go there hahaha.”
The former reality star already shares 3-month-old daughter, Ruth, with her boyfriend, Grayston Leonard. “On the morning of February 2nd, our little girl joined us earth-side and we will never be the same,” she wrote when their baby girl arrived. “We are all as healthy and happy as can be.”
Since then, the California native has been candid about her experiences as a new mom, detailing everything from breast-feeding to placenta pills.
She even shared a photo of her postpartum belly and adult diaper. “So amazing what we can do,” Martinez wrote on Instagram. “I’ve never felt so much respect and love for my body, diaper and all. #ThisIsPostPartum.”
“Let’s stop saying moms are ‘lucky’ to get their pre-baby bods back,” the new mom said of her postpartum body two weeks after giving birth. “’Lucky’ is getting the opportunity to carry a child within you. ‘Lucky’ is having a healthy baby. ‘Lucky’ is watching your body change after bringing new life into the world, not squeezing into your old high-waisted jeans a week after giving birth. I am truly lucky.”
The ABC personality announced in September 2018 that she and her boyfriend of three months were expecting. Martinez opened up about the status of their relationship in March.
“This man is wonderful. And handsome. And a great dad. I love him so much, but there’s so much you don’t see that goes on behind the Instagram scenes,” she captioned a selfie with Leonard on social media. “I think it’s easy to look at our photos together and think we transitioned seamlessly into a life with each other, and that couldn’t be further from the truth.”
She admitted that their new chapter included “mostly tears and arguments,” adding, “Don’t get me wrong, I’ve never been happier than I am now. I couldn’t think of a better person to be my partner or the father of my child, but dealing with the stress of an unplanned pregnancy with someone you barely know is ROUGH.”
