Rebekah “Bekah” Martinez is a West coast native who rose to prominence after competing on Arie Luyendek Jr.‘s season of The Bachelor in 2018.

Martinez was eliminated in the seventh week of season 22. During her time on the show, her mother filed a missing person’s report to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office in California. During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2018, Martinez cleared the air, admitting that she thought she would have phone service while filming the ABC dating show.

Though she was a Bachelor Nation fan-favorite, the reality star opted not to appear on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise after falling in love with boyfriend Grayston Leonard. The pair began dating in 2018 and share two children: daughter Ruth, born in February 2019, and son Franklin, born in July 2020.

Since 2018, the University of California Irvine student has cohosted the “Chatty Broads” podcast with actress Jess Ambrose.

Martinez and Leonard got engaged in July 2022 after nearly five years together.
