Dominic West

Dominic West grew up with six siblings in Sheffield, England. He attended Eton College, Trinity College Dublin and later graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

West began acting in 1991, making his big-screen debut in a short film called 3 Joes. He landed his breakthrough roles in 2002, starring in The Wire and the film, Chicago, both of which earned massive critical acclaim.

In 2014, he was cast as the lead in The Affair on Showtime, a part that earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

West welcomed his first daughter, Martha, in 1998 with then-girlfriend Polly Astor. He later rekindled a college romance with Catherine FitzGerald, and the pair married in 2010. They share four children.

In 2020, he was spotted kissing actress and Pursuit of Love costar Lily James while in Rome filming a TV series. Shortly after, he stood by his wife in a photo op and told reporters their marriage is strong.
