Babatunde ‘Nayte’ Olukoya
Nayte Olukoya grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, before moving to Austin, Texas, where he works as a sales executive. He previously studied business administration and Africana studies at Eastern Washington University, graduating in 2019.
The Canada native kicked off his reality TV tenure when he immediately caught Bachelorette Michelle Young’s attention during the season 18 premiere, earning the coveted first impression rose. Olukoya was a frontrunner throughout the season before he proposed during the show’s finale on the beach in Mexico.
During the show’s December 2021 After the Final Rose special, Olukoya confirmed he was planning to move to Young’s native Minnesota. The ABC series gifted the duo a down payment on their first home together.
The twosome announced their split in June 2022, calling off their engagement.
