One day prior to the Sunday, May 12, holiday, Burnham, 27, posted a lengthy caption on her Instagram page, asking her followers for help.

“Since finding out I was pregnant, I’ve been reading tons of books on motherhood, listening to advice from some of the most amazing moms I know, and have been trying to prepare myself as best I can for our little girl on the way,” the reality star wrote along with a picture of herself cradling her baby bump while wearing a gold robe on Saturday, May 11. “Pregnancy is the greatest gift, but it definitely comes with its challenges *cue the nausea, sleepless nights, body aches, etc.* It’s enough to get even the most optimistic of us down at times. I’ve personally found myself temporarily in a place of feeling alienated from time to time during this transitional period and I know there are some of you who can probably relate to that.”

The Virginia native continued: “All of these changes going on in my mind and body just remind me of how strong we as women can be and Mother’s Day seemed like the perfect time to ask all of you for your best, no B.S. advice on motherhood.”

New mom Martinez, 24 — who welcomed her first child with boyfriend Grayston Leonard in February — quickly jumped into the comments section to voice her own experience and opinions, saying: “During the early postpartum period you may feel SO sad, helpless, ugly, angry, inadequate, paranoid…the list goes on and on, but so many people experience the same thing! Ask for all the help you need, it’s okay to say no to visitors, it’s okay to not want to leave the house, it’s okay to stay in bed all day, it’s okay to let the laundry pile up,” along with a heart emoji.

The nanny added: “Oh also you might not bond immediately with your baby and THATS OKAY. You may not have those immediate tears of joy/feelings of love everyone talks about but that doesn’t make you a bad mother.”

Us Weekly exclusively revealed in November that the former sales executive and the former race car driver, 37 — who fell in love on season 22 of The Bachelor in 2018 and wed in January 2019 — are expecting a little one.

“I kind of had a feeling that I might be pregnant. So my friend insisted on bringing a pregnancy test over,” Burnham told Us at the time. “Arie came out with the test in his hand and tears in his eyes. He was like, ‘You’re pregnant!'”

The newest addition to the group of Bachelor Nation babies, a girl, is due in June.
