Not here for the negativity. Brian Austin Green fired back at people who thought his sons’ long hair made them look like girls.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 47, shared a photo of himself and his sons Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 4, in the car on Thursday, September 10. “Target run,” he captioned the post.
However, some people didn’t like that all three boys were rocking long hair. Green responded to the criticism in the comments and noted hairstyle preference is simply an opinion.
“I’ve read some of the comments here,” Green wrote. “I’m not saying anything is right or wrong. I think some people with different opinions are attacked because opinions usually start with the words ‘I think’ or something similar. When people state opinions as facts is when arguments happen.”
The BH90210 alum added, “The fact is my boys have and like long hair. In my opinion they are beautiful and will still be and possibly be mistaken for girls if they wore matching short and tshirt combos and had short hair. Some people like boys and men with long hair. Some people don’t. Both opinions are OK.”
Green shares Noah, Bodhi, and Journey with his estranged wife, Megan Fox. He is also the father of son Kassius, 18, with ex Vanessa Marcil.
The Don’t Blink star and Fox, 34, tied the knot in 2010. Green announced their separation in May after nearly 10 years of marriage. The Transformers actress has since moved on with Machine Gun Kelly, whom she was first linked to in May. A source told Us Weekly on Thursday that Kelly, 30, “has met Megan’s kids” but Green “is pretty protective of them.”
The insider added, “Megan and Brian’s relationship is so up and down. They have been coparenting in a healthy way as best as they can.”
However, Green — who has been linked to models Courtney Stodden and Tina Louise since his split from Fox — said he would “never say never” to a possible reconciliation with the Jennifer’s Body star.
“We had an amazing 15-year relationship. We have three beautiful kids. We shared a lot together and we really went through a lot together,” he shared during an Instagram Live in August. “Right now the paths are different and she is on her path doing what she feels she needs to be doing to be happy and I’m on my path doing what I feel I need to do to be happy and it’s not for a lack of love for the kids or lack of being responsible.”
