Before Jeremy Allen White and estranged wife Addison Timlin separated after nearly four years of marriage, they frequently doted over their two daughters.
“From the moment you were born you found all the places that needed more love and you poured it in,” Timlin gushed via Instagram in October 2022 of her eldest daughter, Ezer, in honor of her 4th birthday. “I am so humbled by your choosing of me and the choosing of us. You make me believe in god and magic and fairies and all things good in the world. Before you got here everything was sort of just glued together.”
The Bear star and the Little Sister actress — who met as teens while filming the 2008 movie Afterschool — first became parents in October 2018 when Ezer was born. The pair went on to tie the knot one year later before daughter Dolores’ own arrival in December 2020.
“She is the answer to 1000 prayers and we are in love with her,” Timlin wrote via Instagram at the time, announcing her second child’s birth. “Thank you Ezer for your patience and wisdom — you’re the best big sister ever and finally to my husband, you are everything. We did it, baby.”
White, for his part, has also been candid about how fatherhood has changed his life — from the moment he learned Ezer was on the way.
“When I found out that my wife and I were pregnant, she called me because she wanted to just tell me right away,” the Shameless alum recalled to InStyle in August 2022. “We had just moved into our house in Los Angeles, and I was sitting in the backyard to have a little rest. And there was this really old tree sitting in the corner, with a hummingbird nest in it. The tree was dead, but the nest looked like it had been there for a long time. As my wife was telling me we were pregnant, my eyes were just on this hummingbird darting around the whole time. So, I got a little hummingbird [tattoo] for Ezer, our oldest daughter.”
After more than three years of marriage, Us Weekly confirmed in May 2023 that Timlin had filed for divorce. The All Roads to Perla actress filed her petition in Los Angeles, which was categorized as “dissolution with minor child” under the “family law division.”
