In the four new pictures, Charlotte had fun frolicking outside with her mom. Whether she was sitting on a fence, running with a flower in her hand or posing prettily in the grass in a blue dress, the mini royal was all smiles.
Last year, Charlotte celebrated her birthday by getting her photo taken with her baby brother, Prince Louis, born on April 23. She sported a blue cardigan and a matching barrette while kissing her sleeping sibling on the forehead. Her older brother, Prince George, 5, posed for similar pics.
“Charlotte is really enjoying having a younger brother to play with,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively at the time. “She’s taking her big sister duties very seriously. She won’t leave baby Louis’ side. … [Charlotte and George] have a great bond, and a similar connection is growing between Charlotte and Louis.”
The insider added: “She’s very confident. She’s not afraid of a grazed knee and it’s not going to stop her from running around. She moves at the speed of light!”
It’s been a big year for Charlotte. Not only has she been adjusting to her new role as a big sis, but she also stole the show at not one but two weddings.
The toddler stuck her tongue out at photographers at Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s May 2018 ceremony while wearing a flower crown, then waved in a white dress at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s October 2018 nuptials.
Charlotte is also about to welcome a baby cousin. The Duke, 34, and Duchess of Sussex, 37, are expecting their first child together, due any day now.
