Meghan King is ready to take a bite out of the Big Apple after her recent move from Missouri.

“Meghan has been in New York City for a couple months now,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly, revealing that the former reality star, 41, “wants to sell real estate in NYC and she’s working really hard on launching her career.”

King — who sold her first home in August 2024 as a realtor in Missouri, where she’s been living — is excited to build her future in New York.

“She also wants to start a new chapter in her life and has wanted a new environment to thrive in,” the insider says, calling King’s relocation to the East Coast “a natural connection.”

The former Real Housewives of Orange County star has family in New York City, the source tells Us, including her brother RJ, who has his own connection to the hit TV franchise.

The insider notes that Meghan’s brother is “good friends” with Real Housewives of New York City star Carole Radziwill, adding that the pair “share a dog together.”

News of King’s move to New York comes after she and Kyle Cooke made headlines for kissing outside a bar in the city earlier this month.

“Kyle didn’t know Meghan prior to being at the same event last night. She had pursued him the second she saw him,” an insider exclusively told Us on April 17 after the Bravo stars’ unintentional run-in. “He was definitely buzzed and was having fun with her. It’s nothing serious, but they did hang out all night even after the event was over, and made out several times in public.”

One day prior, photos circulated of King and Cooke, 43, packing on the PDA in Manhattan after they attended Page Six’s ‘90s-themed party at Temple Bar.

According to a second source, Cooke, who is newly single following his January split from estranged wife, Amanda Batula, arrived at the party with friends. He casually chatted with King and others, per the insider and appeared to be “in great spirits.”

“Meghan did seem interested and gravitated toward him more as the night went on,” the source shared, noting that the event ended around 10 p.m., when Cooke and King left with a group and headed to Bar Bianchi.

“It felt more like a fun, slightly flirty night out than anything serious,” the insider added, revealing that the pair stayed at the bar until 1 a.m. “The kissing seemed like something just after a few drinks and a good night with friends.”

The hookup between King and Cooke came weeks after Cooke’s ex Batula, 34, confirmed she is dating their Summer House costar West Wilson, who previously dated her close friend Ciara Miller.

The scandal has shaken the Summer House cast, most of which are not talking to Batula nor Wilson, 31. (Fans will get to hear everyone’s side of the story when the season 10 reunion airs next month.)

King, for her part, revealed in December 2025 that she was coming off a “tough year” after navigating a messy custody battle with ex-husband Jim Edmonds.

Following the exes’ divorce in 2019, King and Edmonds, 55, shared custody of their three children: daughter Aspen, 9, and twins Hart and Hayes, 7. Later Us broke the news in November 2025 that King was stripped of her physical custody rights and granted supervised visitation.

“The custody hearing has been called off,” Edmonds’ rep, Steve Honig, told Us in December 2025, sharing that “both sides have reached an agreement that is in the best interests of the children.”

A source told Us at the time that the children will be living with Edmonds in Tennessee full time and spend several weeks with King every summer. King, however, did spend time with her kids in December 2025 around the holidays, which a separate insider told Us was part of their agreement.
