Carole Radziwill

Carole Radziwill (née DiFalco) is a journalist, author and television personality best known for appearing on The Real Housewives of New York City and for her award-winning career at ABC News. Radziwill spent her childhood in Suffern, New York, where she was raised in a working-class family. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English from Hunter College before receiving an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Radziwill began her career as an intern at ABC News before working her way up to producer and journalist. She reported on domestic and international stories for programs including 20/20, Primetime Live and World News Tonight, covering conflicts in countries including Cambodia, Haiti and Afghanistan. Throughout her journalism career, she won three Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award and a GLAAD Media Award. She transitioned into publishing after leaving ABC News, releasing her bestselling 2005 memoir What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship and Love, followed by the novel The Widow’s Guide to Sex & Dating.

In 2012, Radziwill joined Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New York City, and she remained a principal cast member on the series through 2018. She announced her return to the show in 2026 as a friend of the housewives.

In addition to RHONY, Radziwill has remained active as a writer, producer and television personality. Her 2005 memoir, What Remains, became a New York Times bestseller and chronicled her journalism career, her marriage and the loss of her husband.

Radziwill married Prince Anthony Radziwill, the son of Prince Stanisław Albrecht Radziwiłł and Lee Radziwill, in 1994. Anthony, who was also the cousin of John F. Kennedy Jr., died of cancer in 1999. The couple did not have children. Radziwill later dated musician Russ Irwin and chef Adam Kenworthy.
