It's his best Weekend Update yet! Saturday Night Live funnyman Seth Meyers was all smiles when he tied the knot with longtime love Alexi Ashe on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts on Sunday, Sept. 1. Photos from the happy occasion show the newly minted husband and wife holding hands and grinning as they walked down the aisle after saying "I do."
Ashe, a lawyer, looked stunning in a cap-sleeve lace dress and matching veil. Her groom, meanwhile, was handsome in a dark-colored suit and crisp white shirt.
As Us Weekly previously reported, the New York-based couple exchanged vows in front of 150 guests, including famous friends like Olivia Munn, Allison Williams, Ali Larter, and Rashida Jones. Also in attendance were many of Meyers' former SNL costars, such as Amy Poehler, Fred Armisen, Taran Killam, Andy Samberg, Jason Sudeikis, Kristen Wiig, and Will Forte.
Us first broke the news of the comedian's engagement back in July. "He's very excited for the next phase of his life," a source told Us at the time. "He's known that she's The One for awhile, but it was all about timing."
This next phase will indeed be a big one for the newly married star, who met Ashe at a mutual pal's wedding several years ago. Beginning in 2014, Meyers will take over for fellow SNL alum Jimmy Fallon on NBC's Late Night; Fallon, 38, is replacing Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.
