It’s baaaack! The 9th Annual “Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars” Special is set to air on Sunday night, and Us Weekly has the exclusive details.
Every year, Kimmel, 46, creates a hilarious “movie” trailer with his A-list pals following the Oscars, and this time is no exception. As attested by exclusive photos, Us can confirm that Meryl Streep, Abbie Cornish, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Ben Kingsley, and Mandy Patinkin will all make cameos during the clip following the 86th Academy Awards.
In one photo, Streep looks stern as she creepily stares into the camera. Kingsley and Waltz don costumes from the Revolutionary War era in another, while Zeta-Jones shows off her sexy side in a little frock with chic high boots. (Word is still out on what the actual trailer is about!)
Other stars to appear include 2014 Oscar host Ellen DeGeneres, Captain Phillips‘ Tom Hanks and Barkhad Abdi, brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth, Christoph Waltz, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth Rogen, Morgan Freeman, Girls‘ Adam Driver, Queen Latifah, Andy Garcia, Anjelica Huston, Gary Oldman, and many more. House of Cards‘ Kevin Spacey will also be on hand as the show’s guest that evening.
Kimmel’s Oscar specials have become a staple for his ABC late night show. His last two trailers — “Movie: The Movie” and “Movie: The Movie Twovie” — have racked up a staggering 28 million YouTube views alone. Last year, the comedian was joined by Channing Tatum, Oprah Winfrey, Kerry Washington, Jessica Chastian, Bradley Cooper and others for the big event.
