Khloe Kardashian Shuts Down Tristan Thompson Reconciliation, Jokes About Bringing Guys to His House in ‘KUWTK’ Sneak Peek

Even Khloé Kardashian didn’t see her reunion with Tristan Thompson coming. In a sneak peek for the second half of season 18 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the reality TV star shuts down the basketball player’s proposition to permanently move back in with him.

In the clip released by E! on Thursday, August 20, Kardashian, 36, talks to Thompson, 29, about gearing up to sell her house. The Cleveland Cavaliers star subsequently offers to let the Revenge Body host and their 2-year-old daughter, True, stay in his Los Angeles home while he’s in Ohio.

“I have my house in L.A., I’d love for you and True to stay there for as long as you guys need to,” Thompson says. “I’ll give you guys the keys and you can go party on. You, True and whoever else.”

Kardashian perked up. “Whoever else?” she quips.

“Don’t get any ideas now,” Thompson replies.

“No guys?” she says with a smile before Thompson shut down any other males stepping foot on his property.

While Kardashian thanks him for his hospitality, she points out that Thompson wouldn’t have anywhere to stay when he comes back from his NBA season. As a result, he offers to get an apartment, which Kardashian replies that doesn’t make sense.

“Mi casa es su casa,” he responds. “Who knows? You could just live there forever.”

Kardashian is quick to shut that idea down. “Stop it. That’s not happening. Oh my God,” she says.

While it’s unclear when Thompson and Kardashian filmed the scene, Us Weekly has confirmed that the twosome have indeed reconciled after their February 2019 split — and are planning to move in together.

“Tristan wants to prove to Khloé that he has changed,” a source told Us earlier this month, referring to his past infidelity. “And wants to make this permanent with a family home.”

A second source notes that the pair grew closer as Thompson stayed in L.A. amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Khloé is hopeful that Tristan has changed for good and will continue to grow and be the great and loyal partner that he has been throughout their time together during the [coronavirus] quarantine,” the insider said. “The fact that Tristan hasn’t been working or been able to hang out with his friends and other athletes who have previously been a negative influence on him like he used to has been great for their relationship. But when things do go back to normal, who knows what will happen?”

Per a third source, the basketball player is hoping to get traded from the Cavaliers to a California team. “Khloé would love to give daughter True a sibling because she is at the perfect age,” the source said. “[And Tristan] is trying to get traded to an L.A./California team.”

The second half of Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 18 returns on E! Thursday, September 17, at 8 p.m. ET.
