The reality TV personality has been at the center of the drama since she told Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp that she had an affair with Denise Richards. While Brandi claims that she slept with the Wild Things star, who is married to Aaron Phypers, during a visit to Denise’s movie set in April 2019, the actress has repeatedly denied that accusations. Brandi, however, maintains that she has no reason to lie.
“People can say whatever they want to say. Listen, it doesn’t matter because I know my truth and the truth is setting me free right now because I don’t have to keep this f—king secret anymore,” Brandi told Us Weekly exclusively in July. “Because I hate [secrets], I just am not good at secrets. … I don’t like when I think somebody has something on me. It’s just the worst feeling. That’s why I live my life so out loud.”
Brandi added that she was “in shock” when Denise told her to keep their alleged hookup under wraps.
“If I was just doing it to make a splash, why would I not have done it last season? Then they would have brought be back full-time this season because they would have had a giant full f—king story line,” Brandi told Us. “I didn’t say it last season because I was worried that I was a cheater after she’s like, ‘Oh Aaron’s going to kill me if he finds out.’ I thought, ‘What is she talking about?’ That is bullsh–t.'”
As the cast of RHOBH takes sides, former star Lisa Vanderpump weighed in from offscreen.
“I hear Denise has been having a really rough time, and I always had a great connection with her,” the Vanderpump Rules star told Entertainment Tonight on August 12. “We have a lot in common, you know, in terms of having adopted children and [being] a huge dog lover. I mean, I would love to speak to her at some point. I hear that she’s had a really rough time on [the show].”
