Khloé Kardashian is under fire yet again for promoting detox teas and shakes on social media. This time, however, the criticism is coming from someone with a close connection to the British royal family.

Vogue Williams, who is married to Pippa Middleton’s brother-in-law, Spencer Matthews, recently called out the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star in an interview. Pippa, who is, of course, the younger sister of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is married to Spencer’s brother, James Matthews.

“I saw Khloé Kardashian pushing a flat tummy shake but those shakes have got laxatives,” Williams, 33, recently told The Sun. “I hate all that s–t. It’s dumb and dangerous.”

Williams, an Irish TV personality, maintains that there are much healthier ways to slim down. “If you want to try to tone up or lose weight, the only way to do it is to up your exercise and start eating a little more healthily,” she explained.

As it turns out, the model is speaking from experience. “I don’t believe in dieting,” she added. “I did a juice diet years ago and that made me sick.”

Williams’ criticism comes after actress Jameela Jamil has repeatedly asked Kardashian, 34, to stop promoting diet drinks to her millions of followers on social media. In the past, she has taken to Twitter to call the Revenge Body host “sad” and to encourage her to be better. “I hope my daughter grows up wanting more than this. I want more than this,” the Good Place star wrote in January 2019. “Sending love to this poor woman. This industry did this to her. The media did it to her. They fat shamed her into a prison of self critique.”

Despite her harsh words for Kardashian, Jamil, 33, recently told Us Weekly she doesn’t harbor any ill will towards Khloé or any member of her famous family. “I don’t dislike them,” she said of the Kardashian-Jenner clan last month. “I just want them to stop selling powder from the Internet to make people thinner because it doesn’t.”

Kim Kardashian addressed the criticism she and some of her family members have gotten for promoting detox drinks in a March 2019 interview with the New York Times. “If there is work that is really easy that doesn’t take away from our kids, that’s, like, a huge priority, if someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider,” the KKW Beauty founder, 38, noted. “You’re going to get backlash for almost everything so as long as you like it or believe in it or it’s worth it financially, whatever your decision may be, as long as you’re OK with that.”
