Athleisure is a fashion trend that includes clothing we’d wear both in and out of the gym. Sure, we wear yoga pants outside of the gym all the time; who isn’t guilty of that? But the difference with these leggings is that they won’t look out of place when we’re rocking them, no matter how long it’s been since we last hit up the treadmill.
The Alo Yoga Moto Legging “doesn’t mess around.” We’re already intrigued. These leggings have a high-rise fit and are made of Ultimate Performance Nylon Spandex and Glossy Performance Fabric, making them a go-to for a trip to the gym, an at-home yoga or pilates session with YouTube as our guide, a brisk walk or a long hike. Their other details, however, are what put them high and above regular workout pants and leggings.

Multiple shoppers are saying that Lululemon “has nothing on these [leggings].” Others commented on how Alo beat out Nike by making their favorite pair of yoga pants. One shopper raved about the “luxe” fabric, saying that these are the leggings we’ve been looking for. So glad to have found them!
These leggings have moto-inspired quilted panels on the thighs and shins down to the ankles, cut at sharp, diagonal angles to create definition. Between these panels are thin mesh insets just below the knees, adding to the sleek and unique look of the ribbed quilting. Both the quilting and mesh make a reappearance on the back of the leggings, covering the calves.
We saw the beautiful Victoria Justice wearing these Alo leggings while out on a hike through the hills of Los Angeles on Feb. 4. She paired them with a lightweight grey hoodie, a black baseball cap and black sneakers, showing us just how cute we can look even in workout-wear. Supermodel Gigi Hadid and songstress Taylor Swift have also been spotted stepping out in these exact leggings! Style inspiration is everywhere if we just take a second to look around for it!
Trying to find a pocket? Look very closely, because these leggings do, in fact, have one! It’s hidden in the thick, elastic waistband, which sits on the hips. This pocket is great for keeping our belongings with us even when we’ve left our bags at home, or in a locker. Some pockets are clunky and lumpy, sticking out from our sides and ruining the otherwise nice shape of our clothes, but that isn’t a problem with this camouflaged one!
These leggings were made with anti-bacterial technology, which prevents the growth of odor-causing microbes. We might be wearing these leggings for hours at a time, and if we’re working out in them, we plan to break a sweat. With these leggings, we can avoid the discomfort, stains and, let’s be real, stink that we might end up with when wearing sweatpants, for example. This is especially great for when we don’t have time, or the energy, to change after a tough workout.
Want more than one pair? That’s more than easy to justify, especially because these leggings are currently available in four colors! To stick to the moto-inspired vibe, we can choose Black for an edgy leather look. Rich Navy also has a glossy look on its panels, and we love how it looks with simple gray and white tops, though it matches with so much more.
If we want to make even more of a statement, we can choose White, which is bright in all of the best ways. This is definitely a great shade for the gym, but would also look great styled with a cute tee or a cozy fleece.

Alo’s clothing is made to suit a “studio-to-street” lifestyle, and the brand hopes to inspire shoppers to be mindful and concentrate on their own wellness. “Luxury meets performance in every collection,” which makes us feel good whether we’re working on perfecting our headstand or practicing Shavasana (a.k.a.
