Attention, everyone: It’s bootie season! “But isn’t it always bootie season?” Yes, that does happen to be true. But that doesn’t make it any less exciting. If we’re wearing booties all year ’round, we’re always going to be on the lookout for new styles and trends — and sales. Can’t forget sales.
The Nine West Seraphim Pointy Toe Booties hit the ever-so-sweet, coveted spot where chic, edgy and artistic all merge into one. In this case, they merged to form our new favorite pair of shoes. Better yet, Nine West is having an incredible sale on boots and booties right now, and these ankle boots are over half off!
The boots have three leather straps running across the width of the shoe. The top strap starts just below the ankle, while the bottom one is just behind the toe. These straps have two rows of tiny, circular silver studs and are kept in place by silver buckles on the outward-facing part of the foot. This moto-inspired look is ironically softened by a pointy toe, giving the boot a fancier effect that’s meant to elongate the leg.
Shoppers, who have collectively rated this boot at almost a perfect five stars, can’t stop receiving compliments when they wear their Seraphim booties. They can’t stop wearing them, either, calling them “very comfortable” and a great option “for those who want to dress up without having to wear heels.” The heel on this bootie is just one inch, so we won’t be experiencing any issues with sore soles and toes!
Apart from the buckles, the shoe’s leather upper also features a side zipper, making it easy to slip the boots on and off without worrying about bending or breaking anything, including our ankles. The extra hardware lends just a bit of edge, plus the zipper works visually well on this boot too, further emphasizing the moto vibes.
The Seraphim bootie comes in four colors, all of which are included in this must-have-now sale. To fully embrace the biker-babe, monochromatic aesthetic, we can go for the all-black version. Pair these with faux-leather accent leggings and a matching jacket and suddenly we look like the leader of a stone-cold style squad. A cute one, though.
If we like that look, but want something more for spring or summer, we can still have a black boot, but with added floral flourishes to lighten things up. Yellow, turquoise and red flowers cover the boot, along with their green stems, even on the straps! The colors fit so beautifully together that we wish we could pluck the flowers out and put them in a vase. While this pattern is great for sunnier seasons, we’re also making this our version of a winter floral. We don’t have to freeze in a short dress if we want a flowery pop in the snow!
Also available is a taupe suede shade. While the color is a neutral, we’d still center the rest of our outfit around these boots. The heel is a medium brown shade with a hardwood look, while the silver hardware glistens atop the straps. We’d wear our taupe Seraphims with, well, basically anything. How about an off-the-shoulder top and these modern, boot-cut jeans, for starters?
The final option is a clean, bright white. If we want to be noticed and make a statement, this is the shade for us. Note that the sole and heel of these white boots are black, creating a stylish contrast against the upper to help them stand out. The next time we’re wearing an all-snow-colored getup, these shoes will be the perfect fit! We’re imagining a cute-yet-casual engagement shoot with these boots and a short, simple white dress or romper. Excuse Us while we wipe a tear from our eye. How did that get there?
We still can’t believe we can have these booties for over half off their original price. All we need now is to clear four spots off our shoe rack so we can fit every color. Hi, Marie Kondo — can we get a little help here?
