Putting on the perfect pair of jeans for the first time is a life-altering moment. Suddenly, the sun shines a little brighter, the birds sing a little louder and all of our clothes look that much better on us. It’s truly glorious and we all deserve to experience it. But how, when every pair we try on fits awkwardly, assuming we can get it to fit at all? Don’t fret, because with these jeans, it is truly possible.
The Mia Toothpick Five-Pocket Skinny Jeans from KUT from the Kloth are making all of our other jeans look bad. One shopper said they loved their pair so much that they were “probably going to throw away [their] other jeans” and buy “at least” two more pairs of Mias to take their place. Another shopper said these jeans “fit like a glove,” as any ultra-skinny pair of pants should! We hate when we receive a pair of skinny jeans that end up looking like slouchy sweatpants. We want that toothpick fit, but with enough stretch for us to move and groove our little hearts out at any given moment. In fact, looking at these jeans, we kind of feel like dancing right now!

These Mia jeans do, in fact, have that much-sought-after stretchiness, but only the good kind. Wearing and washing won’t stretch out their original shape, so don’t let them sit in the closet like a collectible toy on a shelf. Take them out for a spin! We can wear these all day, every day and feel A-OK, if not excellent by the end of the day!
These crisp-cut jeans “bring out all kinds of fabulousness” when we wear them. The dark blue wash, called Awareness, is flattering, and we love the hand-sanded fades on the thighs and whiskering at the hips. We’re definitely “aware” of how make-or-break these details can be. Look closely to find the subtle contrast topstitching giving us even more reason to love these skinnies!
These jeans have a traditional five-pocket style, with two curved hand pockets in front, one with a small coin pocket, as well as two back patch pockets. We love having that little coin pocket. We can, of course, stick a couple of coins in there, but we could also use it for a stick of gum, a guitar pick or maybe a little note for ourselves. It’s also great for if we need to take off our jewelry at some point in the day and need to stick it somewhere we won’t lose it!
These jeans also have a belt loop waist, which seems traditional until we reach the back to find a stylish surprise! Instead of one loop in the center on the back, there are three right next to each other! This almost creates a stripe detail, and it’s totally functional too, working extra hard to keep our belt in place so it doesn’t bend and curve back when we sit down.
These jeans have a zip fly and button closure and we definitely prefer this quick zip over having to do and undo multiple buttons, wasting time, hurting our fingertips.
Because of these jeans’ dark wash and toothpick fit, they’re much more versatile than a lot of our other denim. They look great keeping it casual with sneakers, classing it up with heels or finding our edge with booties. We can tuck a top into them with ease, go carefree with a crop top or let a tunic drape freely over our hips. Color-wise, blue jeans go with seriously everything, so that’s not an issue in the slightest!
