There’s nothing like coming home from a long day and cozying up with a fuzzy or puffy blanket. It’s soft, it’s warm, it’s comforting and it makes us feel safe. But what if it could get even better? This multi-layered blanket claims to “provide the warmth and gentle comfort of a hug” so we can not only wake up feeling fresh and renewed, but achieve a calming coziness at any time of the day. Quility says that it adheres to the highest standards so shoppers will never be disappointed, which is clear based on its phenomenal rating!
So what do high standards and detailed construction consist of? Seven layers. This weighted blanket has seven layers, all with their own purpose, that come together to form the ultimate product. The breathable, 100% cotton fabric is made to suit our body temperature, and multiple layers of padding encase millions of premium micro glass beads that produce the weighted effect.
The glass beads are hypoallergenic, non-toxic, odorless and lead-free, so they are safe, but we still don’t want them spilling out! That’s why Quility uses an advanced, no-glue sewing technology to keep everything secure so it can provide optimal temperature control.
Included with the blanket is a removable minky duvet cover, which is super soft. We may choose to use this cover on chillier days and nights for extra warmth. If we want to remove it during warmer months, we can just unzip and untie the strings fastened to the loops on the edges of the blanket. Done!

This blanket comes in many different weights, ranging from five pounds, which is great for kids or someone who just wants a tiny bit of weight, up to 25 pounds. Quility recommends choosing a blanket that weighs around 10 to 12% of our body weight, plus one additional pound. For example, if we are between 140 and 190 pounds, we would opt for the 15-pound blanket. If we’re not sure, we can just check out their handy chart on Amazon which tells us exactly which blanket is right for us!
There are currently six color options for this weighted blanket and minky cover. For the regular grey blanket, we can choose several different cover colors. We can keep things monochrome with grey, or opt for navy or the brighter pink. There’s also a black and white patterned version!
If we’d prefer the light grey blanket, we have two other color options for our minky cover! We can go with the calming ivory shade or the aqua, which has us thinking about warm, blue ocean waters. What’s great about these minky covers is that because they come in such beautiful colors, we can choose one to match our bedspread or living room, or even use it as an accent piece!
If we’re ready to try a weighted blanket, this is the one to go for. Even if we already have one, we bet this blanket is worth the trade. We may be able to kiss sleepless nights, overwhelming anxiety and chill-induced shivers goodbye with Quility, so what are we waiting for? The sun to set? No need!
