Kate Hudson is currently a global ambassador for WW. In an Instagram video, she explained why she decided to not only use WW, but encourage others to do the same.

“My ‘why’ is really my kids and my family and longevity — wanting to be here as long as I possibly can,” she said. She called the WW family the “perfect community” that lets people hit their personal goals their own way, whatever those goals may be. Hudson said “health and wellness” were her top priorities, but everyone can set their own priorities with their own plan! WW wants everyone to build “healthy habits,” whether that’s to eat better, exercise or just wake up feeling happier every day.

“I believe that we need to celebrate diversity in how each individual wants to celebrate their bodies,” Hudson proclaimed, which fits perfectly with WW’s goal — and ours too!

DJ Khaled, whose full name is Khaled Mohamed Khaled, documented his personal WW journey on social media when he was named an ambassador for the program. He shared his progress with millions of followers, explaining that “to be great is to be healthy.” For him, that meant losing weight by embracing a healthier lifestyle. Part of what drew Khaled to WW was the fact that he could work toward his goal while still enjoying himself. He encouraged others to join him on his journey, promising to keep everyone updated along the way.

“I can show you better than I can tell you,” Khaled wrote on Instagram after shedding 20 pounds, saying he was “ready for more.” Ready he was, because later on he reported that he had lost 43 pounds and still wasn’t ready to stop! Khaled has stayed positive and focused throughout his journey, wanting to be great for his two-year-old son, Asahd. Judging by Khaled’s progress, we can say that he’s certainly succeeded! Even though Khaled already hit his goal with WW, he shared that he wasn’t going to stop there either.

“New year, new goals, new blessings,” Khaled said at the start of 2019, committed to sticking with WW all the way.

Kevin Smith had a frightening beginning to 2018, suffering from a massive heart attack in February that could have ended his life. One year later, Smith shared exclusively with Us Weekly that he has dropped almost 60 pounds. He said he never thought he’d be under 200 pounds, describing his major progress as “crazy town.”

The actor and director (among many other things) said that he felt “wonderful” as he announced that he was becoming a WW ambassador the summer after his big scare. He later clarified to Us that it was “never about dropping the weight,” but more about getting healthy. WW helped him see that focusing on wellness wasn’t about everyone following the same strict rules, but finding what works best for us. For him, that meant embracing veganism, even though he openly hates vegetables!

While Smith personally benefited from his WW journey, he wanted to further team up with WW to help others. Thus, the #GetYourHeartOn campaign was born. For every hashtagged photo of fans making a heart with their hands on Instagram, WW donates one dollar to the American Heart Association! Our feel-good journey just got that much more rewarding.
