Wedding bells are still ringing (or at least echoing)! It’s been a few days since Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt tied the knot. And now we have all the details on the wedding dress and suit for the happy couple wore on their special day.
On Saturday, June 8, the newlyweds exchanged vows in Montecito, California. The 29-year-old bride looked like the most elegant princess in her form-fitting white gown with a show-stopping train, a custom number created by Giorgio Armani. The design featured a white Armani Privé crinoline lace bustier column gown that included a full skirt that turned into a lovely lace train. She complete the look with a lace embroidered short veil paired with a tulle one that her mom, Maria Shriver, wore on her wedding day.
For the reception, the blushing bride changed into another custom Armani Privé dress, this one an ivory silk stunner with an empire waistline, a draped skirt made of pale pink silk tulle and chiffon and a draped bodice embellished in embroidered tone-on-tone crystals and pearls. To ensure she was ready to dance the night away, she paired the look with patent leather nude Giorgio Armani flats.
“I am so grateful to Mr. Armani, who created a once in a lifetime dress for me to wear,” Schwarzenegger said in a statement from the designer. “And for Chris, the perfect suit.”
The 39-year-old groom wore the same designer his a midnight blue two-button peak lapel wool suit with a matching vest. He paired it with a white shirt, silver necktie and Armani cufflinks.
The maid-of-honor, Christina Schwarzenegger, the six bridesmaids and flower girl also all wore custom-made Armani dresses.
“Katherine and Chris are truly the ultimate beautiful bride and handsome groom,” said Giorgio Armani in the statement. “I am proud to have played a role in this couple’s wedding. For them and for the bridal party, I designed elegant and sophisticated outfits that would highlight their radiant personalities.”
