Kiefer Sutherland, 43, donned a green dress and combat boots during a Wednesday night appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.
"It's uh, you're doing the remake of Beverly Hillbillies? You're granny? You're -- what's happening here?" joked Letterman.

"Far worse than that," responded the 24 star. "I lost a bet. Over the weekend, I was so sure New England was gonna win [the NFL playoff game] that I told a guy who used to be my friend that if new England lost, I would wear a dress on Letterman."
The Baltimore Ravens beat the New England Patriots 33 to 14.

Letterman upped the ante.
"You ride the subway, I'll give you a thousand dollars," he joked. "You get on the subway like that... downtown."
Sutherland's response?
"Riding the subway would be easier than what I'm going through right now," he said. "This I think may be the most humiliating moment of my life, and I've had a couple to choose from."
