The kids come first. Kathryn Dennis celebrated Christmas with her two kids, Kensie and Saint, amid her ugly custody battle with ex Thomas Ravenel.
“Real life #Christmasfamilyphoto #reality,” the Southern Charm star, 27, captioned a series of silly photos with her two little ones on Thursday, December 27, via Instagram.
Us Weekly confirmed in October that Dennis filed documents to obtain primary custody of her 4-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son after Ravenel, 56, was arrested for battery and assault.
In the docs obtained by Us, Dennis accused the former politician of relying on full-time nannies to provide for their kids and accused Ravenel of having a “personality disorder of some type.”
Ravenel filed a counterclaim in November and denied all of his ex’s accusations. In his filing, he also accused Dennis of using their kids for story lines on Southern Charm and alleged his former girlfriend “habitually leaves the minor children with their maternal grandmother so [she] can party and socialize.”
Ravenel was first publicly accused of sexual assault by two different women in May. He was arrested for battery and assault in the second degree in September, stemming from an alleged 2015 incident with his children’s former nanny, Dawn Ledwell. (Ravenel denied all allegations made against him.)
Following his arrest, Bravo announced Ravenel would not return for season 6. Dennis, however, is currently filming the sixth season of the hit series.
Earlier this month, Ravenel made headlines again after Ledwell sued him, Bravo, NBCUniversal, Southern Charm’s production company, Haymaker Content, and Comcast for assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, civil conspiracy, defamation and negligence, per the docs obtained by Us.
