Alex Pettyfer

Alex Pettyfer is an actor and model best known for his roles in films like I Am Number Four and Magic Mike. Pettyfer was born in Stevenage, England, and raised in both the U.K. and Los Angeles. He attended several private schools, including Shiplake College, and began modeling as a child before transitioning into acting.

Pettyfer began his career modeling for brands like Gap as a kid before landing a role in the British TV movie Tom Brown’s Schooldays (2005). He later gained wider recognition as Alex Rider in the 2006 film Stormbreaker. His early success positioned him as a rising young actor in Hollywood, leading to high-profile casting opportunities in action and teen-oriented films.

He went on to star in movies like I Am Number Four (2011), Beastly (2011) and Steven Soderbergh’s Magic Mike (2012), appearing alongside Channing Tatum. His later work includes roles in The Butler (2013), Endless Love (2014) and directing and starring in Back Roads.

In his personal life, Pettyfer was previously engaged to Riley Keough. He later began a relationship with model Toni Garrn, and the couple married in October 2020 before announcing their separation in 2023. They share a daughter, Luca Malaika (born in 2021).
