Brittany Aldean

After being crowned homecoming queen in high school, Aldean, née Kerr, graduated from the University of Alabama in 2008 with a degree in Human Environmental Science. She pivoted toward modeling, however, entering a model search for Victoria’s Secret in 2010. Though she didn’t end up working for the lingerie brand, she instead became a dancer for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats around 2011.

The following year, the North Carolina native auditioned for season 11 of American Idol. She advanced to the Hollywood round but was cut shortly thereafter.

In September 2012, Brittany was photographed getting cozy with her future husband, Jason Aldean, while the country star was still married to his ex-wife Jessica Ann Ussery. Less than a year later, in April 2013, the “Dirt Road Anthem” singer filed for divorce from Ussery and he and Brittany began dating.

The pair made their first public appearance together in June 2014 at the Country Music Television Awards and got engaged three months later. The country couple tied the knot in March 2015 and Brittany officially became the stepmother of Jason’s daughters with Ussery: Keeley, born in 2003, and Kendyl, born in 2007.

The twosome welcomed two children of their own in the following years: Memphis in December 2017 and Navy in February 2019.

Brittany runs a YouTube channel which focuses on beauty tutorials. She also owns a conservative-leaning online retail store with pal Kasi Rosa.
