
Joe Pesci
Joe Pesci is an American actor and musician known for his roles in iconic crime films and collaborations with Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese. Pesci spent his early years in Belleville, New Jersey, where he developed an early interest in acting and appeared on television and in stage productions.
Pesci’s early career included a stint in music, including with the band Joey Dee and the Starliters, before landing a role in the low budget film The Death Collector (1976). His breakthrough came when De Niro recommended him to director Scorsese, leading to his role in Raging Bull (1980). The performance earned him critical attention and launched a successful film career.
He went on to star in Goodfellas (1990), in which his performance earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He also appeared in My Cousin Vinny (1992), Casino (1995) and The Irishman (2019). Pesci also became a household name through comedic roles in Home Alone (1990) and its 1992 sequel and the Lethal Weapon series. In addition to acting, he released music, including the album Vincent LaGuardia Gambini Sings Just for You (1998).
Pesci has been married and divorced three times and has one daughter, Tiffany Pesci (born in 1992), whom he shares with Claudia Haro. He got engaged to Angie Everhart in 2007 but the pair split in 2007.
