Biography:
Michael Bolton, best known for belting soft rock ballads, has sold 53 million albums during his 40-year career.
The Connecticut-born singer has performed with numerous legends including BB King, Celine Dion and Ray Charles.
In 1975, he married Maureen McGuire, with whom he had three children, but the two divorced in 1990.
Eight top 10 albums later, Bolton proposed to actress Nicollette Sheridan in 2006. The pair called off their engagement in 2008.
