Talk about a transformation! Jennifer Garner shared a shocking throwback photo of herself disguised as a man on Tuesday, January 2, and the 45-year-old actress is nearly unrecognizable.
“New Year, New Me,” the Miracles from Heaven star teased alongside a snapshot of herself on Instagram sporting facial hair, a bear and a cropped hairdo from a 2011 project that never came to fruition. Garner also revealed in the caption that she was pregnant with son Samuel at the time, who she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck. “#themovieneverhappened #turnsoutIwaspreggers #babiesarebetterthanmovies.”
Fans took to the comments to compliment Garner’s makeover, which was completed by special effects artist Rick Baker, and compare the 13 Going on 30 star to male celebrities.
“You look like James Franco,” one user wrote. Added another, “Eddie Redmayne? Craziness.”
More Garner followers compared the Love, Simon star to Clay Aiken and suggested that she resembled Dave Franco too.
The Tribes of Palos Verdes actress, who joined Instagram in September 2017, ended the year celebrating the holidays with Affleck, 45, a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly last month. Although the Justice League actor has since moved on with Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus, he and Garner maintain an amicable relationship to coparent their three children, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5. Affleck has also said he is committed to “trying to live a normal life and is focused on putting his family first,” according to a source.
