Can you bounce a quarter off of Jennifer Lopez’s abs? “On some days, yes!” the Second Act star confirms to Us. Indeed, at 49 years old, the 5-foot-5 singer, actress and dancer is in peak physical condition. Regular workouts that include focused cardio (think: HIIT circuits) and plenty of core work (tossing a medicine ball from a lunge position is a favorite move) keep her physique sleek. But it’s the compound effect of her work ethic that sets her apart. “She’s so dedicated. If you don’t veer off the path, the results are only going to build upon themselves,” David Kirsch, who trains J.Lo when she’s in NYC, tells Us. “It’s not like she’s ever starting from square one. It’s just getting better.”

Get Strong All Over Like Jenna Dewan

She started dancing when she was 5. At 38, it’s still her go-to activity. “I always like a dance-based workout,” Dewan tells Us. “When I can do a dance class, I’m always the first one in.” Over the years, she’s picked up Pilates and sessions with Jennifer “JJ Dancer” Johnson, “who’s a dancer and trainer,” she says. And unlike many of her Hollywood cohorts, the 5-foot-3 Resident star isn’t afraid of adding bulk. “I like to switch it up,” the actress confides. “In the gym, I’ll do heavier weights and fewer reps, which is about building muscle. Then I’ll go to a Pilates dance-based class that’s lots of reps with lighter weights and lots of cardio and dancing.”

Make Your Workout More Effective Like Jamie Chung

“Rest” isn’t in the 5-foot-6 Gifted star’s vocabulary. “Every day is some type of movement, either a class or taking my dog on a long walk.” she tells Us. “It’s about your state of mind and endorphins.” Gym sessions include a treadmill warm-up before pull-ups and cross-cable trainer holds. “It works your whole body,” she explains. Next come compound movements like tricep-building push-presses and squats with kettlebells, which increase burn while building muscle. Says Chung, 35, “I’m all about time.”

Start a Morning Routine Like Dua Lipa

The early bird gets the abs! “I love doing something that’s really fast and quick, like a 15-minute HIIT session, which I can do before I start my day,” the “New Rules” singer says. Of course, that’s just the start for the Adidas ambassador, 23, who’s been touring since 2015: “I try and work out as much as I can. It’s such a busy lifestyle, I feel like I need to try to do something for myself every day.” Sometimes, that self-care comes in the form of an all-over toner: boxing. As the 5-foot-8 Grammy nominee has said of her hobby, “I like doing it for fitness. I like doing it just to kind of clear my mind.”

Change Your Diet Like Lupita Nyong’o

While the 5-foot-5 Oscar winner is naturally a healthy eater — “She loves chicken with rice and beans and eats salmon,” a source tells Us — turning into a superhero for 2018’s Black Panther still required a major diet change. “It was only once we wrapped that I realized I was on a [refined-sugar-free] diet,” Nyong’o, 35, says. “But we could have carbs, which are good when you work out as much as we did.” Small meals every three hours satisfied her, she adds: “I never got bored.”

Get More Flexibility and Mobility Like Julianne Hough

From dancing to Pilates to rebound-based drills, Hough, 30, has done it all. Her main fitness goals remains the same, though: “I like to have flexibility and mobility,” she tells Us. For strength training, “I’m all about using your own body weight, or smaller 3- or 5-pound weights, and doing ankle and wrist weights,” she says. The key, adds the 5-foot-3 actress, is “lots of reps.” Out of the gym, she and her hubby, NHL forward Brooks Laich, bike, hike and rock-climb: “We just try to find as much to do as possible to stay active.”

A quest for mental balance led King to a physical breakthrough. “There’s so much going on, sometimes you just want to be quiet,” the 5-foot-9 star tells Us. “I do yoga every day. When I started doing that, it really changed my life. I was... getting all of this energy out of me.” And just like her daily practice and habit of drinking lots of water, the Escape Plan actress, 39, considers eating a form of self-care. “I don’t believe in dieting. I believe everything has to be a balance.”

The key to getting bikini-ready fast, the former Miss Universe tells Us, is “trying to cut out or limit carbs.” It doesn’t hurt if your body is already in tip-top shape! Culpo, 26, gets in three to five varied sweat sessions a week. “I love Pilates, I love to run, I love SoulCycle. I’ve been doing a lot of Barry’s Bootcamp, which has been fun. I like Orange Theory too, and I like FlyBarre,” she says. “I love everything.” For those less gym-inclined, the 5-foot-7 stunner recommends the buddy system. “Bring a friend to workout to help motivate you!”

In 2018, the star may have been, well, reborn. But her wellness game has always been strong. “She’s a really healthful person,” trainer Harley Pasternak tells Us of the 5-foot-2 singer, 32. “She has a passion for healthful cooking and is well educated on eating and exercise.” As A Star Is Born choreographer Richy Jackson tells Us, her work ethic also carries her: “She never doesn’t give 100 percent.”

A booty and abs like hers don’t just happen. “Wherever she is, she makes sure to exercise every morning,” a source tells Us of the oldest Kardashian sister, 39. Her cardio and strength-training moves come courtesy of pro Don Brooks, who she works with when she’s in LA. And while “she doesn’t like classes,” adds the source, “she has a routine of exercises she does when she’s on the road.” Famously the most disciplined eater in the fam, the 5-foot-1 reality star has recently begun eating gluten and dairy again. “I try to do everything in moderation in my usual routine,” she says. “But when I go out or have a craving, I’ll have whatever I want.”

Garner, 46, has a secret weapon on her svelte side: trainer and pal Simone De La Rue. But the star’s discipline is what really brings those muscles to life. Besides dance- and rebound-based Body by Simone sessions, the 5-foot-8 star sweats in her home gym daily and punches bags at BoxUnion. Ditch Sugar Like Sherri Shepherd

After going 260 days sans sugar, Shepherd shared on Instagram on Dec. 1 that she’d lost 25 pounds. “I’ve done this slowly and steadily,” she wrote, adding that she follows the keto diet. “This isn’t a fad — it’s my life that’s at stake.” The actress, 51, who has type 2 diabetes, tells Us, “My mom passed away at 41. I kept picturing myself going, ‘I wish I’d done something different.’ And it was like God was saying, ‘You can do something different.’” While the change has brought new insight, “the perk,” she jokes, “is being able to fit into size 8 jeans.”

Ballerini brings sunshine to the gym. “She’s a hard worker but she loves to laugh,” her pro Erin Oprea tells Us. “There’s never a dull moment working out with her.” Nor is there an easy one. The trainer utilizes Tabata and other HIIT methods along with compound moves, like a one-legged squat into a lunge, to build strength. The “I Hate Love Songs” crooner, 25, has come to depend on the burn. On the road, she takes SoulCycle classes and FaceTimes with Oprea. Recently, Rowland’s perspective shifted from fitness to wellness. “I’m trying to be great forever, or for as long as I’m supposed to be on this earth,” the 5-foot-8 singer tells Us. “That’s why I stretch, for the sake of my body. I do yoga and breathe into the body for that reason. It’s one of the reasons I love dance.” Still, the 38-year-old — who focuses on alignment and core strength with pro Massy Arias — admits she does lunges, squats and sprints for a different reason.
