Doting dad! Andy Cohen smiled wide in a new photo with his son less than a week after the little one arrived via surrogate.
“Digging the #DadGear!!!” the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host, 50, captioned a Thursday, February 8, Instagram pic. In the sweet shot, the new dad stood smiling on a plane with his baby boy strapped to his chest in a BabyBjorn Mini carrier. Only the top of the infant’s head could be seen, peeking out.
The Bravo personality welcomed his son with the help of a gestational carrier on Monday, February 4. That day, Cohen shared another smiling shot to social media with his newborn cuddled up to his chest in a striped hat.
“WOW! This is my son, Benjamin Allen Cohen,” he captioned the photo. “He is 9 lbs 2 ounces !! 20 inches !! Born at 6:35 pm, PT. He is named after my grandfather Ben Allen. I’m in love. And speechless. And eternally grateful to an incredible surrogate. And I’m a dad. Wow.”
A few of the Real Housewives commented on the Most Talkative author’s new plane pic to show their support.
“Omg !!! I’m obsessed with this photo ! I LOVED carrying my babies around like that,” Kyle Richards wrote, while Bethenny Frankel added, “This is the best. XO.”
Cohen prepped for his little one’s arrival with two baby showers. After an East Coast shower with friends, including Kelly Ripa and Sarah Jessica Parker, the Missouri native also partied on the other side of the country with the Real Housewives, including Lisa Rinna and Melissa Gorga.
“Still feel like we got the assignment wrong after seeing that other shower,” the Live With Kelly and Ryan host, 48, admitted on social media in January 2018 when she saw the other shower’s wild moments.
Cohen reassured her, writing back, “You got it right babe.”
