A blushing bride-to-be! Jennifer Lawrence and her fiancé, Cooke Maroney, celebrated their engagement in New York City on Sunday, May 12.
The Oscar winner, 28, and the art gallery director, 34, hosted an intimate party attended by their close friends and family members. Stylists Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson shared a photo on their Instagram page of Lawrence in a $2,300 blush-colored chiffon L. Wells Bridal dress with long sleeves and a plunging neckline. She accessorized with Casadei shoes, a Roger Vivier purse and Fred Leighton jewelry.
“Here she comes!” Lincoln and Johnson captioned their post. “We couldn’t be happier and more excited for #jenniferlawrence to become a #MRS.. this weekend we toasted Jen and her groom to be.. too good of a time was had by all.”
Lawrence and Maroney started dating in the spring of 2018 after being introduced by her longtime friend Laura Simpson. The New York University graduate proposed in February with a stunning diamond ring.
“[They] definitely appear to be in it for the long haul,” a source close to the actress told Us Weekly in March.
Lawrence previously dated Nicholas Hoult from 2011 to 2014, Chris Martin in 2015 and her Mother! director Darren Aronofsky from 2016 to 2017.
The Hunger Games star, who has remained friends with all of her exes, recently cracked a joke about the first time she met Aronofsky, 50, at an American Film Institute luncheon. With a laugh, she told the audience at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, “[I] did a lot of networking at that lunch, I guess!”
