According to The Blast, Dos Santos Lima, 32, responded to Johnson’s petition for divorce on Friday, February 8, and requested that he pay her $1,000 per month in spousal support. She also reportedly asked to split their joint bank accounts and home possessions evenly, so they each walk away with 50 percent.

The 33-year-old software engineer filed for divorce from his estranged wife on January 11, the same day she was charged with first-degree domestic battery following an alleged altercation in their Las Vegas home. “He had a swollen lip, and his gums and teeth were bloodied,” Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Officer Jay Rivera told Us Weekly after the incident, which took place the day prior. Rivera also noted that Dos Santos Lima “was the aggressor in this case.”

The Brazil native initially claimed that Johnson was the one who attacked her, posting a picture of her bloody face on Instagram and captioning it, “Colt called the cops on me we argue.” However, when authorities later found Dos Santos Lima at a friend’s house, discrepancies in her story became clear.

“After cleaning her off, officers determined that the cuts were not consistent with the kind of bleeding she was claiming,” Rivera explained. “She also has scratches on her abdomen, but those injuries were also not consistent with the length of [Johnson’s] fingernails.”

Dos Santos Lima was then taken to jail and held on $3,000 bond. The reality TV star created a GoFundMe page so fans could donate money to help her pay for an attorney, but the page was eventually taken down.

The pair got engaged after knowing each other for five days and tied the knot in June 2018. That same year, Dos Santos Lima was arrested twice for domestic violence: in one case, it was days prior to their wedding and once in November. The charges in both cases were eventually dismissed.
