There’s something in the air this first weekend of June. It could be love, lust – or anthropomorphic beavers trying to save the world?

That’s what Watch With U has lined up for you this weekend, which sees several high-profile premieres on streamers like Netflix, HBO Max and more.

Hoppers is already streaming on Disney+, and it’s perfect for subscribers with kids or who are kids at heart.

If you’re craving a low-stakes love story, we’ve got two of them: Netflix’s Office Romance, with Jennifer Lopez and Ted Lasso’s Brett Goldstein, and Pillion, starring Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling.

We also recommend streaming the creepy horror film Keeper on Hulu and the Irish rap comedy – yes, that’s a thing – Kneecap, also on Hulu.

Jackie Cruz (Jennifer Lopez)  is the woman she is for a reason. As a successful airline CEO, she has a strong work ethic that leaves little room for a personal life. Jackie demands a lot from herself and her employees, and one of her cardinal rules is that no one should date another coworker. That rule is soon tested with the arrival of Daniel Blanchflower (Brett Goldstein), a handsome lawyer who makes Jackie weak in the knees. They soon begin a – you guessed it – office romance, but will their clandestine affair endanger both their careers?

Office Romance chronicles a world where an airline CEO not only looks like Jennifer Lopez, but wears so many designer outfits to work, she might as well be strutting down the runway during New York Fashion Week. In other words, it’s completely unbelievable, which is why it works. This is a pure rom-com fantasy, and it delivers the goods. Lopez and Goldstein have some pretty hot chemistry, and the supporting cast, which includes Lopez’s Selena costar Edward James Olmos, is top-notch.

You’ve probably seen lots of rom-coms, but what about a sweet-natured rom-dom? That’s the best way to describe Pillion, an unusual love story set in London’s BDSM community. Shy, lonely Colin (Harry Melling) doesn’t go out much, which is why he’s instantly weak in the knees when the handsome motorcyclist Ray (Alexander Skarsgård) propositions him at a local pub. But to be with Ray, Colin has to be obedient and follow his rules, which forbid intimacy in favor of hot and emotionless sex. That works for a while, but Colin eventually wants more from Ray. Can the older dom submit to his younger lover’s emotional demands?

Pillion has plenty of sex, but it’s not sleazy. Look beyond the dildos, butt plugs and penis piercings and you’ll find an affecting romance that isn’t too far off from the more straightforward (pardon the pun) rom-coms starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. Harry Potter vet Melling is endearing as the lovestruck Colin, while Skarsgård perfectly embodies Ray’s aloof macho man. With a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score, Pillion is perfect for those looking for a sexy drama that’s a bit different.

When Liz (Tatiana Maslany)’s boyfriend, hot doctor Malcolm (Rossif Sutherland), suggests they celebrate their first anniversary with a romantic weekend at a secluded cabin, she’s initially thrilled by the romantic gesture. But once they arrive, Liz notices the vibes are definitely off.  It doesn’t help that Malcolm’s cousin, Darren (Birkett Turton), and his model girlfriend, Minka (Eden Weiss), intrude on their getaway, and the cake Liz ate when she arrived causes her to experience strange visions. Something strange is occurring at the cabin, and Liz is determined to find out before it’s too late.

Keeper is a clever update on the old haunted house horror trope that’s been done to death lately. I won’t reveal any spoilers, except to say that Liz’s paranoia is definitely justified. Director Osgood Perkins knows how to effectively build tension by keeping most of his audience in the dark for a large part of the picture. That might irk some – Keeper has a 49 percent Rotten Tomatoes score for a reason. But he rewards your patience with an ending I can only describe as bonkers.

Toy Story 5 doesn’t come out for a few more weeks, but you can satisfy your need for a high-quality Pixar movie by streaming Hoppers, which just dropped – er, hopped – onto Disney+ this week. College student Mabel (Piper Curda) wants to save her childhood glade from being destroyed by the greedy local mayor, Jerry (Jon Hamm), and she’ll do anything to prevent that from happening. That includes transferring her consciousness into a robotic beaver so she can persuade the animals to stay, which will prevent Jerry from building the highway that he wants. Can Mabel’s last-ditch gamble save the glade and stop Jerry?

While Hoopers isn’t as great as Pixar at its prime, it’s still better than most animated films out there right now. The animation is drop-dead gorgeous, and the vocal talent, which includes Kathy Najimy and SNL vet Bobby Moynihan, is great. The film’s environmental message is timely without seeming didactic, and SZA’s catchy song “Save the Day” is bouncy enough to make you tap a few of your toes.

Have you heard of the music act Kneecap? That’s OK, I hadn’t either before I watched Kneecap, a raucous comedy that dramatizes the origins of Ireland’s most famous rap trio. When Liam’s (Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh) music teacher, JJ (JJ Ó Dochartaigh), discovers his journal full of satirical verses, he encourages him to turn them into rap lyrics and make his own music.

He does just that, and soon, Liam, JJ, and Liam’s friend Naoise (Naoise Ó Cairealláin) form Kneecap, who instantly become a hit due to their predominantly Irish-language lyrics, tricolor balaclavas and rowdy shows. Kneecap is deliberately disruptive, but how much trouble can they get into before they are stopped for good?

Franchises never die, especially ones that make as much money as Scream does. The post-modern horror series has been sequelized, remade as a TV series, and rebooted, and it’s more popular than ever. The latest sequel, Scream 7, brings back the original film’s screenwriter, Kevin Williamson, who directs fellow OG Neve Campbell as the very unlucky Sidney Prescott, who once again has to deal with several Ghostfaces making her life miserable.

This time around, Sidney has to defend her teenage daughter, Tatum (Isabel May), from being stalked and murdered. This Ghostface isn’t shy about revealing their identity and uses deepfake technology to mimic past killers like Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard) and Nancy Loomis (Laurie Metcalf). But who is this Ghostface, and what do they want from Sidney? Scream 7 does a decent job of keeping you guessing until the very end and has an adequate amount of gory kills to keep horror fans entertained.
