Andrew Zimmern breaks bread with Pony Express riders, native Hawaiians, and Belgians who lived through World War II on this season of Bizarre Foods. However, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t also like to share a meal with a famous face every now and again.

When Us Weekly spoke to Zimmern about the latest season of his Travel Channel show, which premiered season 12 on July 3, he dished on which famous figures he’d like to share a meal with, and some of his answers might surprise you.

“I want to share a meal with the President of the United States because I have so many things I’d like to discuss with him,” Zimmern said, intimating he doesn’t agree with many of President Donald Trump’s controversial policies.

Switching gears a bit, the 57-year-old TV personality also named one of Hollywood’s hottest couples as a pair he would like to get to know better over some good food. “I would love to share a meal with George Clooney and his wife [Amal Clooney], simply because what they do in their private lives mimics so much of what I do in my private life,” he explained. “I’m fascinated to talk to them — especially to her — I’ll let George stick around and hang out and chime in whenever he’s needed, but I think Amal Clooney is a fascinating person.”

Another celeb the four-time James Beard Award-winning TV personality would like to chow down with? Leonardo DiCaprio. Zimmern tells Us he met the actor briefly in 2017 after The Revenant star, 43, introduced himself outside of a hotel in New York, and Zimmern would love to get better acquainted with DiCaprio. “He apparently is a big fan of the show and my work, which is really flattering considering I’m such a big fan of his. In the last couple of years he’s become so outspoken an advocate on so many environmental issues,” Zimmern said. “I’d love to converse with him about the things that I’ve seen and the places I’ve gone.”

Last but not least, Zimmern explained he’d like to grab a meal with the pontiff himself. “I’d love to have dinner with the pope,” he added. “He’s a fascinating guy to me. There’s a lot going on underneath that big hat.”
